I've tried before. Downloading the non-cracked version and then applying the crack doesn't work for me, even with my internet turned off. Like it literally gives me errors, or just outright shuts down the game once I try to play it.

But any attempt to lock content behind a paywall invigorates the crackers and those who normally urge others to support the dev go silent.
I mean, I remember gacha games like Genshin and FGO getting leaked by Chinese debuggers, who openly say they enjoy the challenge because the devs keep trying to lock them out (it's what I gleaned from the forums I saw).
So this dev is kind of shooting himself in the foot. Fuck me if I know why.

Just take a break and wait for the major patches....the amount of content being patched in with the smaller updates isnt alot to warrant a new play through
I think these are the reasons why this game has a piracy problem
1 Bad patreon pricing
It should be something like 3 5 10. Also its bad idea to expect low tier patreons to wait 10 months for content.
2 Absense of public releases
It gives more publicity and prevents piracy.
