Oh yeah, he did get bit by a bug fucking up his head. Been so long I forgot all about it. Val siding with Durrak is great since even if she doesn't "regret" it, it shows that MC's being stupid in pushing her away and into Durrak. She doesn't regret it because in her eyes, it wasn't wrong and he DID technically agree with it. Which also opens the door for things to escalate. It means there's FINALLY gonna be progress (if updates continue at least) and not just Durrak wacking it to her.

Can’t say but he did an update again after 3 days when posting the 0.7.2 demo if what he said about weekly update or report then we probably get the next update by tom or probably next week.

Though take it with a grain of salt.

So I wouldn’t say she’s dumb or lacks common sense, but more that she’s very naive and her kindness is being taken advantage of by Durrak. Like she genuinely thinks of Durrak as nothing and pities him, and because of that it’s like she sees him as a child. And due to her being naive and kind, she puts up with what Durrak is doing because she thinks she’s helping him. The husband though is obviously not helping at all with what he’s doing lmao. Also I remembered how Val said that elves don’t react the same to the naked body compared to humans. They don’t mind it at all, while humans try to hide or feel embarrassed etc, so this definitely plays a role too.

But it works, in this particular case because it's not as extreme a case as what you're putting up. It'd be different if he were trying to rape or assault her but so far, Durrak has been "helpful" so Val doesn't see him as a threat. By the same coin, we're not elves, thus we see her version of common sense (uncaring of nudity, downplaying groping, etc.) as nonsensical. It comes down to different mindsets at that point.
