I'm no expert and definitely NO coder but that dos look like you have a duplicate game folder.
Inside the games own \GAME folder.
Which can happen if you extract a zip containing everything needed for the update/Mod or whatever.
Inside your actualy games \GAME folder and because its a folder the game looks for in order to run correctly.
So finding two of them is confusing the hell out of it.
Just Sayin.

Have you tried clicking reload?

The weird part is it shows at file "Chapters/CH*.rpyc" and "game/Chapters/CH*.rpyc" as if its showing them as in two spots

I think i found the issue, I need to include the rpyc files in the download to prevent it from happening, Clicking reload will fix it, but I can prevent it from giving the error by just including the rpyc file in the zip from the start. I will update the download and it should prevent it in the future.

Yea the issue I found to be that the scripts.rpa has the ch*.rpyc files in it, and when my old download was put in there, the game had to create them again. While creating them again it said there were duplicates since there were the ones in the rpa file and the ones from my wt. Should be resolved now and in the future though since I added the rpyc files to the download.

Just d/l’d the update. And i have to say using white font on a hazy white background is pretty bold.

Pro-tip… if you are gonna make it damn near impossible to read the text, just make a porn visual novel.
Also, even though it showed my previous saves, clicking every single one of them led to an error page and i had to start over

both things combined, i’m deleting this game. I really got into it cos of the curvy women… but having to start over and difficulty reading the text block… moving onto another game

I have ha the same problem with text issues in many games. I too consider it surprising how many DV's fail to design their game to do a good job displaying text. BUT... I have a great work around. search for "RenPy_universal_transparent_textbox_mod" It has a couple of advantages. It removes he dark test box and even if there is no dark text box it does add a black line around each letter of the text making it clear and easy to read under almost all conditions. Maybe then you can give this game another try. I for one really am enjoying it!
