Hi friends, I'm very new to this, can someone help to explain if there's any difference between this game and another that I've seen:

and from #1, seems like there's a prequel as well (Custom Order Maid 3D), do I actually have to play each of them in order?

I have a completely fresh install. The guide said that it didn't contain any duplicates so that's weird.

By the way, I noticed that in my OldInstall folder, there was only a single file named ML_temp.arc. This is a fresh install so I don't know where that came from nor what it did.

the modpack doesn't contain any duplicates but when you install CMI you will end up with 2 uncensor folders. The one from the modpack and the one from CMI are more or less the same. I said it very clearly in the instructions that you have to pick one and delete the other. It doesn't matter which one.

I didn't expect you to reply so quickly. I deleted my post before I realized that you have replied. I forgot to delete the [CMI]Uncensor folder.

By the way, what does CMI Difference Module do? I can't find any explanation about it. Does it make the mods load faster? There are some duplicate plugins in it that were already installed by CMI. Can I skip them?

To put it simple it's a failsafe in case you installed CMI with Basic preset. It makes presets display the way they should. Most of what's in there can be installed from CMI directly but it wasn't always the case. I think the only plugin from there that isn't in CMI is the HighHeel plugin which is needed for all hhmod shoes. I should remember to add the fixed

there's nothing to explain. you download and extract them somewhere other than the game folder then run the installer.
Absolutely make sure that any 7z archive you extracted was done using 7zip, not winrar or whatever.
See if the game is installed in a proper location and the path is short. Don't install it in Downloads folder.
Make sure the game folder isn't read only, uncheck read only and apply to files and subfolders.
Try running the game as admin and make sure you have admin permissions over that drive. Also take ownership of the drive.
Does a cmd console run along the main game window when you start up? Does it show any red errors?
Try running the game without plugins. Rename winhttp.dll to _winhttp.dll and see what happens. If it works without plugins then it's a plugin issue and you must reinstall latest CMI.

Only on COM3D2.5. Normal COM is fine. for the moment...

For anyone who had the "unexpected file error" issue for the files, and you know for sure there isnt any missing parts. make sure all the files have the exact same name (other than the .001, .002, 003, etc..) For example, I had the same problem because one of the sites I downloaded the split files from renamed the file and removed the underscore in it. so I just renamed the file that didnt have an underscore to match the rest of the files.

EXAMPLE:

"I changed COM3D2EN.7z.004" to "COM3D2_EN.7z.004" to match the other files names"

Hello everyone.
Coming back to CMO3d2 after a while, something is driving me crazy.

In the past I was using a 3rd party software where I could change my maids' stats, age (possibility to go below 20), fetishes etc, basically editing the entire character's card freely (as far as I remember).

The thing is I CAN'T REMEMBER ITS Fing NAME so I can download it back again.

Do someone knows what I talking about?
