Are old saves supposed to not work? None of my saves are showing up. There are 2 saves in slots 1 and 2 that are not my original saves. So....what happened? Is this some sort of bug or are old saves not meant to work?

Let me guess, you didn't read the "How to transfer your save.txt" right?

I will not make a snarky remark about that, you are welcome

No. I searched before posting, too. I typed "saves" and also tried "broken saves" and "saves don't work", and nothing useful came up. And I'm not gonna search through 58 pages for it. I'll check the front page one more time, but if I don't see it, guess I'll be waiting til the game is finished and starting over.

Yes, that txt that is in your game folder to tell you how to get your saves from the last version to the next, it's pretty convenient. I mean, I didn't really need it since I knew where RPGM stores it save in general, but seeing that kind of service made me like the developer even more.

I didn't have that in my files, either. BUT...is there any other way besides moving save from the old folder to the new folder, and putting the save folder in the WWW folder? That's literally the same way I've done it for every single RPGM game I've ever downloaded.
How to transfer your saves :

1 : Install CYB 0.3 into a new directory
2 : erase save folder from "www" and replace with your own save folder

Default saves :
Save 1 is starting for 0.3 content (not advised to play as there are not your choices)

Thanks. But, I did exactly that. It still didn't recognize my saves. I'll redownload it and try again.

I tried to start playing INSight of You a few days ago and I just couldn't with the writing in that game. Really cringy stuff, bad humor, unreadable syntax during sex, weird focus on smells.

There's something to be said for Maelion's simple, direct writing style in Cyberslayers and Leridia. You get what you pay for, it doesn't overstay its welcome (except when scenes repeat!). And most of all it manages to stay on-topic (hgame porn) without being weird about it.

Because when writing, you just have to "feel like it". It's that simple.

I wanted to come back to the writing style and the creation of the universe and characters.
I'm well aware that what I create is relatively naive and rather simplistic. I don't claim to be a screenwriter out of Blade Runner or Cyberpunk 2077. I use rpg mechanics and that's pretty cliché, but I enjoy doing it and coordinating it all. Maybe that's what makes it work for most players: it's assumed, a little elaborate without being too elaborate, but I'm having fun doing it, and you can feel it.
I'd 1,000 times rather unfold a slightly crude story with bimbo characters and situations I've already seen but worked on than do something too elaborate.
In the end, however, you'll notice that I place a great deal of importance on the universe, and however clichéd it may be in Leridia and Cyberslayers, there are plenty of amusing and sometimes serious details.

100% same. I really don't get the appeal of deep wordy stories and semi-serious themes/characters in what are supposed to be hgames.

To each their own but I'd much rather play something with fun mechanics, Choices and Consequences, and gratuitous sexiness like Cyberslayers or Karryns Prison than wade through the cringy "serious" drama of, for example, Our Red String.

You do an amazing job hence my Patreon support. Last update was amazing and well done (Of course I did howl in frustration when I got to the end of the Red Star Studio and realized there was no more content, blue balled us good! :p :devilish:)

I do have a suggestion though, this game needs a walkthrough of some sort, it is big enough where content can be easily missed without one. For example I finished all the new content and finished Marak and I thought that was it and I was about to put the game away until next update. Luckily I was repeating some Charlotte scenes and kept playing and just stumbled across the Dark Zone as I had no idea it was even there. I started playing that and stumbled across Charlotte and the Cell Block guy, then I stumbled into content from Lucius and Aline modules.

It would be nice to have some sort of walkthrough or guide so we don't miss content. Some sort of gallery would also be good, the Subway perv scene is great but if you don't have a save before it you can't replay it. All that hard work rendering it and you see it once and you can't see it again without another playthrough kinda blows.

Overall this is one of my favorite VN's keep up the great work

Something I really appreciate about the game is how it's earnest in its own artifice. It's a fantastical and sexualised setting; but story and characters are embraced alongside rather than in spite of, the world created.

The setting works on porn logic and the women in it are barely phased by their objectification, and in fact tend to enjoy it; but they are also still allowed to be individuals with their own identity and characterisation. I would love to see more of the girls interactions with each other.

I also think smutty lore and world-building can be quite hot. It would be fun to delve into how the woman in this society seem to be genetically predisposed to being gorgeous and incredibly horny across the spectrum, and how that influences the culture and laws instituted.

The history of what the touted pink and purple laws are, and why they were put into place, would be fun to touch on. I like the idea that women in the city are so masochistically horny that their constant diversions into dark abandoned alleys was negatively affecting workplace productivity.

I don't know if this is in the game or not, because I haven't unlocked a lot of the game yet. But it is very lacking in normal sexual relations for the heroine, that there would be a contrast and the heroine could compare vanilla and rough sex during intercourse.
