If you don't want to be beta-tester for unfinished games, then don't play unfinished "work in progress" games. This is that easy.
Its adorable how you think this game will ever be finished. We all know how it goes with these kinds of game. Even if a dev could finish it,they never do to the perpetual income from patreon or subscribestar. Knowing that I treated every game on here as the final product since there is about a 90% the games will never be finished or just flat out abandoned.

Its called criticism...
That wasn't criticism. You should look up what that word means. Just saying... Not saying your right or wrong about your preference. Personally I prefer RPGM over Renpy but to each his own. RPGM itself does not create buggy gameplay, though the engine does crash a lot for some people. I've seen many Renpy games that are buggy and have game stopping bugs. (Usually those that aren't VN only or the devs green to the programming).

Renpy is much easier to program in, if you come from a programming background, but if not then RPGM might be easier for you as it is a GUI interface and it does the programming side. That one reason why some devs prefer RPGM over Renpy from their side of things. Also the atmosphere the engines create are different and the dev likes the RPGM feel more..

I haven't encountered any game stopping bugs in Cybersalyers myself, but then I haven't played all the way to the end of its content either. Been kinda busy with other things :)

My first project :Leridia, is complete. It has a beginning, a journey, an end and a special mode at the end.
It's been remastered for years now before a 1.0...But the project in itself is complete and was never abandoned.

Hi Maelion!
First of all I would like to thank you for taking a look on my case. I really appreciate it.

To be honest it will be hard for me to mark exact moment in the story that caused my bug. It seems that previous versions of the game worked fine with my save files and I have noticed this problem after current update. My oldest file allows me to open "bond" window but bug shows up any way when I scroll list down to Dr Lucious.
Maybe he is cause of this problem or character after him on the list?
My oldest file is in attachment.

One of my favourite games.

The only gripe I have with it is lots of unfinished content, obviously it's an unfinished game but the amount of content definitely makes up for it.

Is it possible to meet the train molester in the public toilets for a second time or has that yet to be added?

Lol really? Whats this then?

https://f95zone.to/threads/chronicles-of-leridia-v0-6-3-maelion.201/

Marked Abandoned and V 0.6.3. not 1.0
This is one of those fun little examples of being confidently incorrect. He finished Leridia years ago and has been making great progress on this game for a long time now. Listen, you're having a user error on your end about losing your progress, you got upset about it and now you're on like a weeks long diaper shitting meltdown over it. It's time to stop now and move on.

Personally, if I see the "abandoned" tag on a game, I normally instantly skip it. I don't read any reviews, I don't read any of the comments. Why would I invest time in a game that is never going to be finished? Just saying, you are loosing potential players with the abandoned tag.

The thread is not under the control of the developer but rather a moderator, there's a obscure rule saying that if there are no update news in a year or two the game NEEDS to have the abandoned tag, and honestly so far as I see it not every moderators/uploader follows it. On the dev's discord server he constantly shares update news of the 1.0 which he already mentioned is a rework of the already FINISHED game, but for some reason the thread manager doesn't want to tag it.

So what? That seems fair and useful to give an overview of that game and its state.
Maelion could release an identical version, call it 1.0 and call the game completed. Which is true and fair.
Now, a potential player understands that he can finish the game.
There can still be updates or reworks of the game.

Just to be clear, I am not complaining and I do not really care! I just want to emphasize that a forum user who knows nothing about the game and just filters through the 100.000 games will not bother with an "abandoned" one.

This game is one of the best when it comes to corruption, I never played a game that give you that much options and control, I think you even understood the standing point of the players better than most game maker out there, this game has truly the potential to be top tier
thx for making such a gem and keep up the good work you have something special there !

Those that run this site are (were when I was posting things on here) very willing to work with devs. If the post for Leridia is not controlled by you etc then you should either ask them for control or simply make your own (I always made my own when uploading stuff here.) You seem okay with the games being posted here so that'd be the better option and wouldn't be seen here as "abandoned" but completed which might earn you more fans ;. It is not difficult to make a thread here or at least wasn't back when I did...

It does not require network access. I always overwrite the exe though with latest "usable" (0.72.0) nwjs version so I crash less. RPGM in itself has never "required" internet access for me...

Yeah seems like some issue with local routing. Enable internet in sandboxie then just disconnected wifi and everything ran fine
