Everyone! In case it's useful to anyone in 2024, after trying all the pointed fixes and nothing working, I found a solution to the text not looking correct!
I can't post links because I need to have 3 posts apparently so I won't post a direct link but it would be great if anyone else could link it.
You need to use "Locale Remulator" instead of the good old Locale Emulator.
On Google search "InWILL/Locale_Remulator: System Region and Language" and open the first link on GitHub. This program basically does the same as Locale Emulator but supposedly works better and most importantly, fixes the issues with this game!
I also Installed the font, un-hid it in fonts configuration and placed the DLL in the game directory so you may need to do that too.

Thanks for the upload. I tried the one on Ryuugames and it came up with a warning about a trojan.

Make sure to switch the text from options in game from #2 to #1 after doing all the font fixes. That's what the problem was for me at least.Win 10. Fix don't workText broken (m->n, w->v)
Are you using Locale Remulator as suggested above? I tried with just Locale Emulator and it didn't work.It didn't work
Yes, i using Locale Emulator. I think the problem is in Windows 10 single language. He doesn't use the font.
I had the same problem with the old version Kanon from Key.
No I mean Locale REmulator (the 64 bit version), not Locale Emulator. Locale Emulator doesn't seem to apply the text fixes in this game.

Thanks buddy. This actually did work. I think the kicker was your step for installing the font. I tried it before and after that with the other emulator you suggested, and it worked only after doing that step.

Hey, so, disclaimer update here. This game just had an increadibly concerning issue. Crashed and essentially locked up my second monitor to a black screen when it did. Task was stuck as not responding. Task Manager failed to kill the task. Elevated it, went to kill the PID of the task in Command Prompt, still couldn't kill the task. Did a restart of my PC, and it locked up the restart screen. Had to flip the switch on my power supply.
I just wanted to warn about this, because that's bad. Thought my PC was done for there for a second.
Update: I've figured out that the issue is a Fullscreen issue. The window goes inactive if you click on any other monitor, and it can have that critical error when you do. I've opted to use it in Windowed mode, use the tool "Sizer 4.0" to force it into full screen display, and run it that way. Hope that helps if someone develops the same issue.
