I was looking for a new game and came across this thread. I swear the state of every game I see these days boils down to "last update was underwhelming, next update's taking too long/ focusing on wrong things. Long time players have lost all trust on the devs"

some kind of interesting update about every day?
Well, these times are over.
- Subscription models rewarding minimal updates, stretched across absurd time frames (see Summertime Saga etc)
- Unprofessionality
- New wave of censorship originating from online payment systems
- Ukraine war removed the majority of russian devs, and russian-ukrainian dev partnerships
That's why you see those 30 game updates every day, but they are all merely combinations of the same thing. Low effort Koitatsu / Honeyselect, Realporn HTML, horrible DAZ renders, and now also AI CGs.
Topics like maledom, teen or incest are almost gone entirely, while more than half the games appear to be some combination of gay, ntr, futa, furry, femprotag, because that's the only types of kinks still allowed under the rising totalitarianism.
And it's not just the adult gaming sites being affected. Classic amateur modeling sites are getting these "guidelines" from the payment processors, having to remove old photosets showing stuff like "dirty panties with a drop of period blood" or "rough sex", otherwise they lose their contracts and thus all their income.
