I understand what you feel, I liked the story of DHP, because it's like Heart of darkness (non ntr) where you are shown a lot of sad situations and the theme that ties a lot of these stories from U-Room and HoD together is the desire for things to change, to find that happy ending, or rather the dear of going forward and the fear of the future, but also the need for things to change to become better, to be freed of the rotten catacombs we call despair and be freed, to an unknown future, but freed from our pain.

Nice, thanks for the info. It's tough to find that perfect NTR game for the time. I just tried sanctuary of promises and contracts but man that shit was too traumatic for me I love ntr but that wasn't it lol

The red hair prince is a prick playing hero I agree but he’s totally in line with how he acted. He’s like a cop and when he was about to kill schum he was stopped by thrash and told to stand down keep in mind as far and he knows he’d have to deal with Lotia too so he backed down which is totally in line with his character he knows what’s going on in town and thrash is basically a bandit but it’s inconvenient and difficult to him to actually to any beyond surface level good so he doesn’t bother and labels it as for the greater good for defeating the demon lord. Let’s face it even after he won’t do shit. It’s like cops covering for each other after they fight sure they’ll fight each other over something but when their group is threatened they have each others back. In the end he accomplished nothing of value and just ran off with the nun to play hero with her borderline worshiping him.
For the ending it doesn’t really break its own rules. Strength doesn’t mean power thrash got what he wanted but using his strength to get others to do what he wanted the the town itself, multiple dragonvilous under his command or however you spell it, the village that trades their people for safety and probably others paying tribute, the whore, that what thrashed used to get Lotia for himself and take everything he wants. Imos didn’t have that he just had naked strength which he used to kill thrash. It really didn’t change anything or undo the damage. His hypocrite childhood friend love interest is a whore who traded up to be basically a mob boss’s wife and is trying to kill him now because she is now a glorious single mother because of him and his sister is still a junkie whore under aces thumb, and his father and village still sold them out and thinks of him as garbage and probably would think even less of him now that he is a demon lord. It is fucked up he forgot about Aina though their should have been a ending with them or something for someone who claims to be selfish she is the only one who didn’t abandon Imos when the chips where down. But who knows what he was planning to do after he did the monster explosion thing and had to fight a god and then died right after.

I think mymain issue is the last part of the game is all about evenge. But said revenge feels very undercut/undercooked and sitll tries to make Imos unable to really DO anything. He just never really feels like he has true agency. But htat's a whole discussion for another time.
I think what i wanted most from this game was to have Imos actually call Lotiha the childhood friend out for the BS she pulled nad how she is a massive hypocirte and backstabbing bitch who tires her damn hardest to act all pure and moral and innocent. While being vile and cruel and disloyal.
Ive seen plenty of people argue Lothia was pure hearted and got corrupted. But that's BS she herself tries to use pretty much. She wants to pretend that's what happeend when really.
She willingly jumped in bed with Thrash cause she wanted to be with him and didn't really care about Imos and was happy to let him suffe and add onto it. As long as it pleased thrash.
The most important scene in the entire game with her confronting imos over apprently having sex with the prosittute.
Just like every previous time Thrash lied about him. She was codeming him and laying into him for what he was accused of having done. And trying to side with thrash over him.
But in this case it was form a moral highground and trying to lecture him essentialy and reallyy laying into him for the accusation. of choosing pleasure somewhat over her.... At least until. Imos told her tht he SAW her havign sex with Thrash. Then she froze up and was stunned.
Why? Beacue Lothia got caught red handed being a hypocrite and trying to condem imos for the act she herself commited by betraying him beacuse she didn't know that Imos knew she had sex with thrash and was forced to watch. And the momenta tht was pointed out...Lothia didn't apologize. Instead she made excuses and tried to deflect any blame or resposnblity for what she did.
She didn't tell him she did it for him even. She didn't tell him she was sorry. Instead she tried to defend what she did but was fumbling...Until thrash handed her an excuse that was solid and she took it instantly. Any shame she had came from THAT moment.
She got caght being a hypocrite. And exposed her true nature and that she wasn't being raped at all. You don't defend your own rape after all. Certianly not with such an emotional responce...
And That is what made Imos leave. Lothia was...Disgusting there and he couldnt' stand it. Beacuse what she did was morally bankrpt...ANd not something a pre hearted girl would ever do. She knew waht she was doing. And knew it was wrong. But tried to be two faced and pretend she wasn't doing what she was.
Both her and Thrash were very surpised Imos left like that...WHich really tells you a lot about her...She really wanted Imos to just stay there and hang around so she could what...Have him around? Andwatch Thrash bang her for hr benifit while she let him suffer? And she was mad at him for NOT doing that and having self resepct?
Shows that she really didn't care about him or resepct him as a person.
While thrash was pissed cause Imos leaving vastly decreased Lothia's value. He thought she was a massive prizeand wanted to make Imos a 'cuckold' but the fact Imos just gave up on her and walked away threw him off big time and hurt his ego.
It's really no surpise after that he droppd the nice act and started to rape and be brutal to Lothia. Double so cause she was clearly trying to manipualte him by using the idea of her affection or approval to get him to be her new Imos.
Which is why the dragonsw ere lauphing at her when she claimed she loved Imos and wanted to be with him....SHe had every chance and always chose thrash.
And only now wnats to back out...Cause thrash is directing all that evil to her instead of Imos who she probibly wanted to be her lightning rod for thrash's abuse.
She's very hatable if you ask me cause while Tori the sister and Aina had to be dragged kicking nad screaming against their will into the draconids grasp.
Lotiha willingly walked into it then tried to back out when she was getting hurt and it wasn't fun anymore and refused to help either of them when it was obivous both BADLY needed it.
Imos literally killed god and caused the end of the world. What more could you want? Yes, he had no agency because he lacked power and neither did the dragon people either it was just an illusion they were just pawns of the dragons. Even when Imos became a demon “lord” the evil dragon straight up told him she was using him and planned for him to fall into deeper despair when he saw the pointlessness of his revenge.
Yes, well you can only tell so much of a story before it gets too long especially for a rpgmaker game. Imos still thought Lotia was being forced to be with thrash again her will and they she out of no where blamed him for everything and tries to kill him would cause severe emotional whiplash and he tried to justify her to not ruin his image of her and thought about letting her kill him which was probably the result of all the trauma and misery inflicted on him which is just my opinion. Either way he had only a few
minutes at most to think about it. On top of that he doesn’t have access to the internet and was isolated in a village and doesn’t realize woman never accept accountability for anything. Ever. So he probably couldn’t make heads or tails of Lotia’s behavior at all. I agree with that all Lotia just wanted an excuse to leave Imos and get with Thrash but again needed an excuse so she doesn’t feel bad. Lotia’s probably the best part of this game for me she is the ideal “nice girl” deconstruction and honestly isn’t even that extreme. My sister acts like this to a extreme (let’s be honest most woman do) all the time treats her boyfriends like absolute shit and looks for any reason to go buckwild and act like a whore or cunt. She literally uses something that happened decades ago like parents forget to get her medicine for a headache as an excuse to steal from them. Not even the most extreme example but I don’t want to type that much. Woman act like this all the time. Thrash and Lotia didn’t give one shit that Imos left. Lotia probably wasn’t happy about how it happened and how bad it made her look but she didn’t care he left and was probably happy he was finally gone and can get with Thrash. I think you either misremembering things or making guesses on what happened. If your talking about the epilogue scenes Thrash and Lotia probably no almost certainly had a toxic relationship and on one particularly bad day showed Lotia Aina to keep her in line. That’s just my guess thought if Lotia wanted to leave she could have left at any point no doubt about that no hostages left as an excuse for her anymore. Also again Thrash did not give one shit either way about Imos beyond what he can use him for to get Lotia into his bed.
Lotia at the end of the day is like the wife in the sopranos perfectly fine if everyone but her if fucked over so long as she gets plausible deniability and gets to benefit from it. It’s like Skyler White form breaking bad to as another example constantly talking about how evil Walt is and how she’s trapped despite having a DEA agent as a brother in law who would have Walt arrested within the hour while helping launder the money and spending it and just enjoying the fruits of Walt’s labor while pretending she is a victim. Lotia probably would have ended up sort of like this;

Actually, thrash was quite upset that imos left. Remember how he sent people to kill him. And then he lied to. Lothia about IMOs going back to the village and being happy there?
They both actually did care. I think you’re just forgetting that because it went by pretty fast and was surrounded by a bunch of other stuff.
Also it feels like you missed my point a little bit.
Imos killing god really isn't the point. THat's not him taking agency. Killing the god/dragons doesn't really matter to his personal story as it's not really his own will/doing/desire it's the small dragons doing.
Imos taking agency/control would of been him doing things like. Rescuring Aina. Taking Tori back by force and kiling the draconids.
Hunting down those that betrayed him across the story. Punishing the prince for basically helping thrash and making everything worse.
Not simply killing thrash but bruning his home and hard work to the ground and leaving him with nothing to provide with.
Imos was the most powerful being in the world and yet he never gets to actually USE it for things tha would make sense for him personally.
In fact he doesn't call out Lothia's obvious BS excuses that are so terrible they should piss him off cause she's clearly trying to accuse him of being as bad as thrash cause what...He finnaly hurt her?
Lothia outright excuses Thrash's evil actions while trying to condem imos for killing bad people that tortured innocent ones. And ontop of that she activly admits she knows Aina needed help but wasn't doing anything about it. Then tries to claim she did everything so Imos would be happy.
WHile previosuly she outright added to his torment and didn't give a crap how miserable he was and activily cheated on and betrayed him at every oppertunity.
And talked down to him all condecendigly and like he wasn't even a person and more like a pet. And now she wants to be mad at him for daring to actually fight back and kill the man that ruined all oftheir lives.

When did they happen exactly? No Imos went back to the village in the first two ending and the only thing Thrash did was send him a video of Lotia giving birth hell it might not have been him maybe just Ace.
Re read my previous post. I wash joking about the killing god. As I said he didn’t have enough time his first goal was killing thrash and the was probably going to save the others but again he is a dragon person and is under the command of the devil dragon. He can’t just go off and do his own thing and by the time they were finished he was dying. Even if he did go and “save” them Lotia didn’t want to be with Imos, Tori is at best a pragmatist who abandoned her brother for a better shot at life and at worse a junior whore, the only person Imos could have saved is Aina and if he did he’d inevitably have to kill a bunch of dragon people and go on the run probably with Aina forever. Imos like 1 minute because Lotia attacked him and her finale conversation was just her justifying everything and trying to get him to give up at what point could he talk back and what would be the point? Lotia would have blame anyone and everything because accepting even partial blame or the reality that she wanted a provider and didn’t give a damn if said provider was a evil crime lord.
Well actualyl that's where things are a bit complciated. Imos's power isn't the dragons it's his own. Rememebr. Imos power comes from his despair and rage. Not from the dragon herself as with the others. SHe only gave him the abiltiy to turn that INTO power but she made it clear and even the other dragons did that Imos power is his own and no draconid should of been as strong as him.
So he wasn't acutally under her contorl. He had full free will. Hence why he has mulitple endings psot becoming the demon lord. So that argument isn't actually a solid one. Imos had full free will and control of his own actions.It's even implied even if she wanted the dragon couldnt' take Imos power away sense it was HIS despaira nd HIS rage that gave him power.
So he abuostly COULD of and nothing in the story says he can't of just done that.
And there are some other things to bring up. Imos being the most powerful being on the planet means Tori switchign sides back to him is pure pragmatism. Littearly who could of stopped or theratened him? Only thrash was even close but other draconids he could one shot. If he just showed up and killed ace she'd of realized with his power nobody can challagne him and it would b stupid to refuse to rejoin her brother.
Espcialyl consdiering he littealry has god killing power which no draconid is close to. Frankyl he could of killed every draconid on the planet with relative ease.
They were no threat cause he can kill the dragons. So he could just plant down somewhere say 'i live here' and everyone would avoid him cause....Who the hell would be a threat?
....Is what i would say if the game didn't undercut this entire thing in a way that feels really, really sutpid.
The whole idea of Imos losing his power form killing thrash is nonsense. After everything Imos went through, the idea that all his hatred and rage and desapir was directed twrods thrash is compelte nonsense consdiering how many other evil bastards he ran into nad how much evil he witnessed.
This is really dumb and done just so Imos can't keep his power.
Everything i jsut said above. Save the 'control' part is ireeslvant beacuse for somer eason the games story decided the only thing imos internalized was hating thrash...And not littealry anyone or anything else...Or the world...After everything.

And even then the game let's thrash get off super easy Imos barley hurts him after all he's done and can only kill him. Not really inflict any pain or sufffering on him like he deserves. Thrash deosn't deseve death.
he deserves to be humiliated and beaten down adn forced to suffer under Imos.And imos has the chance but the game refuses to let him do anything with said chance.
Instead forcing Imos to suffer even more no matter what
