Ah, I remember that. Something about a ceremony that eventually leads to them giving birth, but only females are born for some reason. I think the dark fairy is involved in the whole "kill all males" plot, but I don't think we're ever told how or why (yet).
I think she is the now queens mother, she fell from grace and was put where she is now by that sect, she was an ally of the Lord, the "father" of our MC. She knows more than she says, but things are brewing up, soon we will see why. Remember the family visit to the queens castle?, there was a painting, we never did get to see it properly, but I think it shows, him,Red and some others that we already know.
