This is because they become pregnant after a certain ceremony, but only girls are born. And MC is the only case where a boy was born. This will be explained later in the story.

God dam it, I'm at THAT point where you have to choose wether or not to trust Yamiyo. A simple yes or no would be so help full right now cause it's driving me nuts. (FOMO)

From what i remember from at least the last time I played currently in the game there are no real consequences either way at this point, I am inclined to say trust is probably the way to go as this game while sand boxy is still basically linear in its story telling, so I would assume the only real difference it will make in the long run is either scene access or scene variation. I highly doubt that the game will have anything akin to like a "bad end" or something like that So my rule of thumb in games like this is its generally better to say yes to everything as that generally leads to more content.

I checked, and everything seems fine, except for some unclear changes in the engine files (renpy\log.py, renpy\main.py, renpy\savelocation.py). I don't have access to the previous version yet to check if these changes were there before. At first glance, there is nothing harmful in them.

In any case, I would say that it is safe to run it in a sandbox (or VM).
