Nice improvements so far!

Here are a few more points from my perspective:
  • The fights take too long. When I keep the Return-key pressed the animations still take ~4 seconds. It's just the basic effect. Not worth waiting that long for. Especially considering the dungeons are kinda grindy AND one has to run back.
    I think a reduction by 30-40% in effect time (at least when holding down the return key) should be more than acceptable.
  • Actually I think that the touch-kill-n-boss-real-fight mechanic would be a very good solution here.
  • It would be nice being able to turn off the lighting for those with lower-spec systems. Caiters to a slightly-wider audience.

Rounded parts are being filled out, very nice.

I really like the touch of the mana-regen offensive magic. It stops the fights from becoming drags.

Like the FFXIV Black Mage imagining of the character. This game has a LOT of potential, I hope it gets realized.

did the message pop up when collecting 4 of these? what does the quest log in the menu say? are you collecting the little leaves or the mushrooms?
also yeah! I'm working on these effects and they should be added soon

You are waiting for exactly 4 items, not 4 OR more. I have 11 of them.

Fixed it, here are the files, replace files in /data

pro tip : always check for the exact items numbers OR MORE.

Anyway, good looking game, would need some more tuning, actually a bit too easy to grind levels. Maybe cut the respawn or reduce it.
Also, for the lewd, I would make the enemies a little more pervert, and/or add events in town to reduce the purity of the MC.

I mean, I will always vote for impregnantion/pregnancy (as long as it isn't just an ending). Sex with monsters too.

But what I would really like to see is the MC enjoying sex without becoming a braindead bimbo who gets used by everyone.

So, it'd be nice to have a suicide option (item, skill, whatever), to be able to easily get loss scenes without having to sit there using defend for an hour (especially since you get a full recovery on level up, so you don't want to actually win the fights).

animation speed annoys me too... now that I'm adding more skills I'm gonna work on creating better effects for them since there's no in-engine way to tweak the preset ones

I'm still tuning balance so combat isn't a breeze for that purpose but I'm gonna include do nothing/surrender abilities in the next update!

It's doing the wrong check in the safeguard for when you pick up the herbs before starting the quest too, I'll add it to the list of fixes

giving it a bit of time in case someone ends up finding any other issue aside from the herbalist one

also a quick note: I'll start working on better save compatibility between versions but as of right now the old save files break on this version ;-;

You sure there isn't a plugin already? Because the same effects are used throughout different RPGM games found on this forum and some take longer and some shorter to run.
Especially the "keeping the return key pressed"-thing usually speeds up texts/fights/etc.

This actually has a feeling-benefit we find in mobile games where haptics play great role in "action satisfaction" (Think of popping the air-bubbles in transport-packaging, I don't know the real term)

Here's something I can think that can make the starting over bit a bit easier: An option to skip the tutorial dungeon. Perhaps have it so it plops us at the entrance to town with us being about level 10-12?

EDIT: I notice that ice magic restores MP now. Nice. Looks like Kagura really took after black mages after all.

Here's something I can think that can make the starting over bit a bit easier: An option to skip the tutorial dungeon. Perhaps have it so it plops us at the entrance to town with us being about level 10-12?

almost done with the spell rework, with that I can make a proper tutorial fight to kickstart the bandit lair and also add a skip option alongside it!

Will you be adding monsters and more importantly, will they have lewd scenes as well?
I'm definitely adding things like orcs and goblins in the future, as well as some plant enemies
though you should probably not expect any beast/animal related content...

True... Forgot about the mid-combat H-stuff. Then don't do a toggle. It's just cumbersome to maintain two versions of something.
Just speed the combat up, please

I'm just gonna speed up all the spell animations this time, then find a way to make it a toggle/option in the future
everything is ready for an update tomorrow unless someone finds a bug last minute ^^

(btw in case anyone doesn't know, holding Ctrl speeds up most things in the game and combining that with the Z key or your confirmation key makes it blaze through even faster, the only exception was spell animations until now...)
