He said already on discord that he has enough from the tentacles. It's very difficult to animate he want to finish this one fast. After that he will go back to monsters with arms. It fits more his style and is easier to work with.

their good shit was japanese bitches doing screaming and couple longer shots from 1 or 2 animators. rest was like 2 sec loops cutted from many angles. darklust was pulling long scenes in single camera angleshot which was impressive. especially that scenes were complex. too bad graphics render and textures were mostly like 2010 sfm level. but at least he didnt used shit filters like fow did.

I am sure some will want at all cost to RE to end up with some kind of guro, thoguh for me, I admit it would be perfectly fine not to, e.g. one of the characters could arrive at the end, just in time to save the other, and that could lead to the second movie, etc. And then at the end of the third there could be the possibility of some kind of "happy ending", or something like Umbrella using them for experiments breeding some mutated creatures and zombies, or stuff like that .

Hmm, I may be wrong, but AFAIK, the only thing that could be considered gore here is when the scene with Lara and the sword. Otherwise, she is kind of torn apart from the fucking, beaten and abused, but that, AFAIK does not fall into gore (even the "kind of torn apart" is kind of, she never appears to die from it).
Gore is more when they are literally torn to pieces, have limbs tore off, and stuff like that (and yes, there is someone else that made video which join gore and necrophilia, definitively not my taste, even if it is a computer game or computer generated image).
