(to be tortured in a sense) but not all viewers connect with that ideology.
I would not go as far as using the word "ideology", actually, I would stay well away from it. You are creating connotation, and maybe an idea of connection to real life attitudes, that do not exist.
That maybe the authors intent..
You made reference to the Lara video. I don't know which version/ending you watched, I saw all of them, but even just the common part, made very explicit that the author intention is going in that direction.
The ending was OK for me because it was then put as a kind of vision/dream leaving the doubt whether it was real, or not, or somehow real in one reality but not in another, otherwise, I would have a problem with the very end. Honestly even disliked a bit (but not enough not to like it overall) the emphasis in some parts of the beating without any sexual element.
The parts of the Rey video shown till now only confirm it, actually even reinforce the tendency in that direction, given the start of the first video and how there are the panel
with Rey crossed over, the comment of the guards even when the fruit falls, etc. .
If you did not catch that aspect of the videos (i.e. all the previews till now), I honestly start to wonder if we watched the same videos, and even more, I am afraid when the final Rey video comes out you could be shocked, because given the precedent, I doubt the video will get more "light".
I would prefer if the video does not end up with Rey in parts or anway a corpse, but it is perfecly possible.
and that maybe what appeals to some of the gooners in this thread but there are others who are more interested in the sexual fantasy element at play.
For your information, actually, the Rey video, including the tentacles stuff, as well as a number of "kinks" that even myself don't like even in games or animations, or only in certain situations/contests, still nonetheless fall under the definition of "sexual fantasy".
There are "kinks" that can be somehow realised if one has a willing partner of the same inclination or that can anyway accept to do something, and till when the thing does not go above certain limits.
E.g. there are really both women and men who get excited by being put down verbally; there are people who really have some masochist tendencies (I should check, the verbal thing may also be classified as form of masochism, but I think not); there are prople who really get excited by being submissive in front of someone acting dominant, eventually after they were aggressive and the other replied showing they could "push back" (and yes, despite the "metoo" and similar things, even between young female ones, it is not only linked to a "macho sciovinistic culture"); somebody can really get excited at the idea of doing a naked midnight swim in the Ocean waters; somebody may get excited at the risk of being caught while doing "stuff"

where they are not suspposed do it.
But "sexual fantasy" contains "fantasy" exactly because it is not real and by default is not supposed to be attempted in reality, safe for the exception, it is a way to explore even extreme and irrealistic ideas, or release any kind of negative energy and/or frustration, without actually endangering or damaging anybody real.
The video is about Rey, that does not exist. It is not about a certain actress that does really exist.
And yea.. I look absolutely down on the former group. It's not a healthy way to think about other humans, no matter how fictional, and even in this relatively "safe" virtual environment. But at the end of the day, we agree: let the art be art.
Oh mine, I feel so tempted...
But to avoid going in politics (actually, would be more history, than politics, but never mind), I wil try to make a vague reference without specific example and details.
I guess like most people on this forum you are from a certain country, which has for many years done for real, and even trained other to do a variety of things, that clearly fall under the description of one verb you used in your message in the past tense, even by admission of some of your own authorities. Plus, in different periods explicitly condoned and even fostered seeing and treating real people, depending on factors like ascendancy, etnic origin, religion, political ideas, like if they were not human beings but something to use or something to eliminate (depending on the context, in some case, both at the same time).
It is fine even being proud about the positive of one's country, but the good does not eliminate the bad and the ugly

.
And now you say that you consider the people in this forum, including from that same country and hence potentially your country fellows, as inferior ("looking down" means that, if you never realised it) to you because they can fantasize or accept fantasies involving a character that is not real person, i.e. because they can actually separate the character and the fantasy from the reality ?
If you are not from that country, it can still be valid, (unfortunately) the majority of the World had a point or another in the past, had situations that even if not the same, were nonetheless in the same direction (e.g. forms of slavery, sometime even inside the same country, or slave trading, or exploiting immigrant workers supposedly even linked by the same religion considering them inferior).
I can understand that some time there are things that triggers our reaction - it is part of our being human beings, even if in certain cases and situations can become a clinical condition - so I can understand there can be parts of the video you do not like.
E.g. there is a game on F95 I could not play, because instead of acting my "kinky games mode" or at least "let's see how it goes", or one of the other modes I might have, it activated my real life protective approach towards the main (female) character, despite knowing it is a character that does not exist in real life.
But that does not mean that I look down on those that could actually play that game and enojed it.
