You can't, but if I see there's interest, she can be the next one in the series (if I ever decide to keep this going).
I hope you do decide to continue. I loved games like this in the past and this game is very well written, with you using appropriate restraint in the writing (like resisting the urge to put in a potential threesome with the female bartender). You kept it simple, which is something most dev's don't do on their first release which tends to gets them into trouble. This is a good, simple base to build off of and I'm looking forward to seeing how your games evolve over time.

So I played a little bit of this game and decided it's not for me.
I didn't find the girl appealing she opened her mouth and I wanted to shut it
She doesn't like animals she insulted my job she was late

If this was a real date I would have already called my buddy to bail me out
Thank God I could just hit quit and delete this

Maybe the next girl in the series will be a little better
This one wasn't appealing at all
Why would you call your buddy to bail you out. Couldn't you just, ya know, leave?

Why would you call your buddy to bail you out. Couldn't you just, ya know, leave?

Sure I could walk out but what if she's a few cards short of a deck.
It why we use a “date backup plan” with a buddy — we use a tiered code system to escape bad dates:

#911 -10 → She’s batshit crazy Call me in 10 mins to bail me out.
#404 -15 → No connection, not worth staying.
#CoffeeBreak -20 → Date’s “meh,” gonna feel it out 20 more mins.

If I don’t reply after that, things got better. If I text back, it’s either a 404 or a 911.

Dating in 2025 isn’t like the 80s — people are more militant, unstable, and you’ve gotta watch your safety.

Why not just be an adult and communicate to your date that you dont think it's working out. At least give them a chance to ignore/correct their mistake and have a chance to learn. All this behind the scenes escaping is what is furthering the horrible dating situations. Everyone is too dang scared to just speak up and be honest.

Hmm.... tried this earlier and though the choice / points mechanics can do with a bit of work (too many and consequences too obscure), it's actually quite good for a short story date simulator. The sex scenes are also very tastefully done.

It's a very good start for a first try, will post a detailed review later.

Thanks for sharing this nugget with us and AntipodeGames you should consider using this experience to develop a longer form game in the future.

I really didn't want this to become another endless unfinished project, so I decided to keep it easy and short. I rather have a finished mini-game in my curriculum than an abandoned one.
If I made another one, it will probably keep this same spirit, but trying to fix things that could have been made better.

About a longer game? Not seeing that yet... I really don't want to fall into endless projects with the risk of ending milking people (I'm taking other people's money more seriously than my own). By now, I rather stuck on projects I know I can finish.

I also got warnings when clicking on download links other than MEGA.
I really don't distrust F95 guys, but I'd go for MEGA or directly on my itch.io page, the original links I really posted myself.
Got a malmware warning when trying to download this.
First off which one of these gave you the warning, the OS, the browser, or the antivirus u are using? The first two usually just follow stats, like the sites reputation. 2nd and most common mistake is that you clicked on the ads faking download instead of the real download button. Especially if the warning came before you even finish downloading the file. Other than those I hardly find any virus or malware from most links on this site, according to my antivirus and virus total.

I can give my very brief thoughts as someone who has played a LOT of these types of games.

In regards to the comments about game mechanics, I want to start by saying that I loved the mechanic where sometimes you have to get a red flag to unlock potential benefits later. It encourages the players to take risks instead of playing it safe all the time. I also like that sometimes what gets you love points isn't always obvious, as it is her perspective that unlocks the love points and not yours. It also puts the onus on the player to figure out her personality by what unlocks love points and what doesn't. At the same time, there are rewards for players that are willing to take risks and not just figure out what the best response that she likes the most is, as those players taking more risks can push her limits further than she would otherwise go on a first date.

For the negatives, I have never been a fan of the "just maximuze your love points for the best results". My favorite mechanic has always been from one of the original games of this genre, Date Arianne. That game used four stats (Smart/Sexy/Funny/Nice) and most dialouge options added points to these catagories. The stats all had upper limits which would cause a game over (like going over the funny stat would trigger an ending where she found you not to be taking the date seriously, or being too nice could also end the date). Responses that would cause red flags but unlock future actions in your games would usually fall into the Sexy catagory in that game, so you kind of already had this mechanic already (the fourth "sexy" choice results in a game over). I think what may add a bit of complexity is setting your red flag counter to one (you fail on the second red flag) but other stats may increase the maximum (like being funny might let you get away with more, so after getting a few points of funny, it may raise the maximum allowable red flags). So you have to raise your "Funny" stat in order to raise your "Sexy" stat. It also gives you multiple ways to progress, as being nice (but not too nice) and raising your "Nice" stat could also cause her to be more comfortable and also allow you to get away with some red flags later.

LOL, if only more developers / milkers think this way. Ok, I'll try to write in more detail on some hopefully constructive comments once I have enough time over the next couple of days.

As for starting a long project, alternatively you can do something like Tjord. He publishes medium length games on completion as well without any milking. None of the games are directly linked, but share the same universe with a couple of Easter eggs here and there to create a casual connection.

What is your buddy going to do? Run in there and start dropping some people's elbows? Just either tell her you're zigging and she's zagging and it aint working, or run the date through and leave and then dont call her again. It's actually nice if a girl tells me mid date that our energies aren't connecting because I'm usually feel the same way, or vice versa. If you're on a date with someone so unstable that you think it could turn into a 911 situation, you need to do a much better job vettin your dates.

Malwarebytes browser extension, but since I trust the guys here at F95, I'm taking it as a false positive.

I played Date Arianne like... eons ago XD, I really don't remember it being that complex.
If I made a second game, it would probably be a bit more obvious to the player, like more branching/content, less "try to guess the right answer". I still have a lot to think about it, but this feed is giving me some ideas.

I've read your review, and I must say, aside that I don't deserve those five stars, that you've made me see a lot of things that could have been made much better. So let me thank you, that's the constructive feed I really wanted to read and note.

I'd like to do something more story driven in the future, but still keeping it short and easy, nothing to do with VNs forever in developement. I had an idea for a VN, but with chapters being short stories and independent from each other. Guess that's something I would not get bored of and...

Also, the game's now 1 week old, so it's time to give the players some help.

There's implemented a little cheat code I used to test stuff before releasing it. You can name your MC as TestSubject so you can play a free run, avoiding game over's and having all sex options unlocked, for completionists wating to see all lewds.
