Due to a brilliant bit of analysis by @WillyTheWacker , I would advise players to ONLY choose the yellow earrings, and later, the yellow gown.
The DMD walk throughs have been excellent from the start. Several times, not following certain recommendations brought players to grief in their play throughs.
Therefore, this situation is a "nullo play". That is there are NO additional benefits for choosing anything except the yellow-yellow combo. BUT, there may well be negative effects when choosing any other combo.
UGH!!
So, unless someone can make a good counter-argument--let's everyone follow the walk through and choose yellow-yellow.

Gotta agree. So far the walk-through has been helpful. I deffer to its recommendations when I'm in a quandary as to which option to choose. I also save the game in a new file at those junctures and play the other options later to see where each leads.
After all we have 3 fucking months until the next update.

I think those various points, like BDSM and such were just initial options MrDots thought of, but gave up on those as he figured that they really don't fit in the story he wants to tell, not in any route, so he gave up on them. This isn't that type of VN where hardcore fetishes would fit in anyway, so I'm glad there's no Submission, Domination, Bestiality and stuff like that, not in this one, nor in Melody, there are plenty of other VNs that do have all that, not every VN needs to

From what I have been able to gather reading dev team members input on this thread it seems like chapter 3 (which in now a no-go) was going to be the fetish chapter.
Chapter 1 was D and F meeting and then becoming romantic. Chapter 2 was D and F becoming a couple and moving to where they won't have to hide their relationship. And, chapter 3 was gong to have D explore more and more extreme sexual fetishes.
Just speculation on my part from following this thread. Mr.Steel would be better informed.
So while you may be right about this VN not having hardcore fetishes I think that may be a result of FUCKING Patreon censorship more than Mr.Dots.
I was hoping D would get popped this update so the sexual exploration aspect of the story could move faster. The romance development is good and gives the characters depth (which has D our darling), but it's like being behind a slow driver in the passing lane.

Shortly--~a week--after an update, many players are "terrified" of being spoilered. They purposely do not read previous posts, even on the page they are posting on. In these circumstances, I'm willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Even answering the same questions dozens of times.
This yellow-yellow problem has evolved. Many players have taken saves without that combo. If/when problems arise from this choice in future, the requests for a fix are going to dwarf the number of present requests. Please note that the enduring walk through problems players still complain about : Cupid Night prizes ; Lucas' assault causing game-over ; severance pay for MC ; 69er position in 0.18.
So, the object is "preventive medicine" NOW. Let's get this yellow-yellow thing done right for as many players as possible.

You have a good point, and that's great you and others help. I have had very few problems but can find a solution by reading thread and not ruining it for me by checking spoilers. But all I'm saying is read and not ask same question over and over That's all folks

Nah, most of his fans knew from day one what the story of DMD gonna be like, it was known that it wouldn't be one of those that contain hardcore fetishes. And it would be a loooong way to go from having sex for the first time to doing hardcore shit, there's just not enough time for that, after 2 years and they still haven't had their first time yet, would be at least another year before they start testing deeper waters and DMD's story will come to an end before that, so no, no hardcore stuff, at least not between F and D, maybe some other characters.

Trust me.As long there is a players willing to pay DmD can continue 3-4 more years and we will get to the hardcore stuff.
You must see how much time we will need in A Wife and Mother for MC to actualy do a handjob,we are not even talking about sex.We have games that are 3-4 years old and still are alive and make tone of money.

I’ve advocated for cliff hangers each episode. I imagine there was really nothing organic to put there. We do have hanging threads with Rachel and MC’s knowledge of Elena.

For me a cliffhanger is something of immediate story impact that will be a major deal in almost the first scene of the next release. We have no cliffhanger in this episode under that definition.

Oh well.

I'm not saying that it would be specifically D engaging in it, I suppose it might be more implied as her being the one that fetish would be allocated too (I don't remember the somekind of dog scene (non-sexual) from chapter 1, but in this chapter it's her whose all about getting a pet and being very enthusiastic about horse riding while Elena didn't like that)

This update was the 19th, known as 0.19.
You do not have to dl the first 14 updates, aka as Chapter 1, again. But you DO have to dl the next 5 updates--known as either Chapter 2 or 0.19.
To do this go to page 1. Within the 1st post, find a big Chapter 2 icon and click. If you want a PC version, get the Compressed (this greatly reduces your dl quantity). Otherwise, there are many platforms from which to choose.

thanks but i just finished downloading ch 2 and on the menu, it says continue from ch 1 and no option as new game. so i guess i'm downloading ch 1 but it seems like most of the download links for mac are broken. I hope i can find a download link somewhere else for ch 1.
