Hello to @Everyone!
MrDots and the team really hope you've had a great week and we're in no doubt that you are all looking forward to this weekends release of DMD v21!
Before we get to that though, we have put together a set of nine questions that we woud like you the fans to answer, regarding both of our games and some questions about you, our loyal followers.
This survey will hopeully give us a bit more insight into where you're from, what the most popular age demographic our games are played by, where in the world some of you live and also if you like one game more than the other!
The survey will take less than two minutes to complete, and to show our appreciation, once you have completed our survey, you will be provided with a couple of links for renders that we were not able to use in recent updates for both DMD and MELODY.
So get to it, and let us know more about you and how we can hopefully improve the quality of our games!

I can't think of a reason for asking about this stuff that doesn't involve advertising or sale of data to advertisers.
It would tell the development team which direction they should go with in whatever game replaces Melody and DMD.
Neither game will last a whole lot longer, so they can use the responses to best decide which direction to go in, the age of the MC and locations for events, languages to include and whether it should be a game like Melody, or one like DMD.

Both game are not that different.Well if he change the MC with mother or daughter that's another story
But the attitudes of the MC are very much different.
The MC in DMD is very unsure of himself in a lot of ways, whereas the MC in Melody has quite a bit of confidence.
There are lots of subtle differences.
Also, the fact that they do not gather your email address means that you will not be getting spam emails for answering the survey, so there really is no harm in answering it, and helping the dev team out.
If people are that worried about suspected marketing crap, clear your cookies after answering, and there will be nothing left of the survey in your system to influence advertising.

Hey I enjoy both games and didnt even bother following the link for the extra renders.(Ok sort of guessed they would end up on here anyway). More than happy to help the devs., given me plenty of pleasure so why not?

Not having done the survey, I don't know if that's how they phrased it, but questions like "What languages should we offer/What age should the MC be/What locations would you like to see?" all seem to get at that stuff more directly than "Where are you from and what age are you?"
It's not a big deal, but I remain skeptical that survey is purely for in-house purposes.

There is no way to make 100% sure from the language you use,where you from.After all you can be in Japan but speaking french.
I hope we get more french love in the game soon
Where they are from, tells them where the players live, and that also tells them the languages spoken.
Some people speak more than one language, so if you ask them to check a box for languages spoken, you would get that info, but have no idea what their native language is.
In the US, you have a mix of languages being spoken by different people, but the native language is English. The people living in the US have to learn English to get by on a daily basis. The same goes for other countries. So you get the most important question answered when you ask where they live because that tells you the language they can speak and in most cases, the person responding would be telling you their native language with that answer.

150% correct there...No asking for email and MalwareBytes accepted the site, so no funny business going on with it. If on;y wanting to see pics then they are already posted here. Though Melody discussion and pics should be done on it's own thread

Maybe they're simply mapping their fan base before their next game, I dunno. Two games with older MC and very young girls/women, maybe they want to change things up.

i'm semi d-route and d gave f good time.
i thought melody was older but on that bonus pic she looked just a bit older than d in dmd.
