One of the best games I've played by far- The storyline is well built and the characters with features well defined. Love the graphics. Story it's quite tender and romatic, even sex scenes are sweet. I highly recommend it.

One of the best visual novels you could ever play, and so far Chapter 2 is living up to my expectations. The gameplay is easy to follow and has loads of options and routes. The characters are engaing, and really create a sense of immersion. And of course the graphics are great, with a variety of body-types and personality-types that should intrigue any player.

How much I began to actually care about some of the characters is what struck me the most. I can't wait for the upcoming update.

This game is really something special; you may think that this is just your typical incest porn game but in truth it is a real love story (a pervert love story of course ) between two people overcoming all obstacles to achieve their dream. This is one of the few porn games I've ever played that managed to get me emotional, some scenes and dialogues are so full of feelings that you simply cannot ignore them; I won't give out spoilers but the end of the first chapter and the begin of the second really managed to move me and that is rare in this kind of games. Technical wise the renders are of an excellent quality and all characters are well made even though the daughter friends look a bit too young for my tastes. The pace of the game is really slow at the beginning but is quickly increasing its speed in the recent updates, in any case there is a huge amount of erotic content with D and a nice amount of actual sex content with the other girls (even though D remains the main focus of the game). Go play this game if you want an actual story in addition to the sex, you won't regret it!

All through the story you are really kept on the edge of your chair/etc. because the intensity in the game rises so slowly - it's really ingenious!

Absolutely one of my favorites. From the different characters that you can interact with to a few surprising situations that continue to make this one of the most favorite games to play on F95zone! Lots of time and effort put into this game and it is very much appreciated.

What's really left to say about Dating My Daughter? It's the flagship of it's genre and literally the comparison point of every other father-daughter adult game.

Let's just review the positives and areas MRDOTS could still improve.

Positives:

# The user is spoiled for choice. Many options unlock various paths that allows a new playthrough to be a partially new game. Having to play a title more than once to see all the quality content is my top check-box for choosing a five star rating.

# The models are well-rendered and animations smooth.

# The writing is witty and straightforward. You can feel the story's natural progression and it's obvious the author spends time putting together and proofing a script before creating new content.

# It's fun! I know that's an oddball positive to include, but truthfully not every game with good writing and graphic design is legitimately fun to play more than once. This game is!

Improvements:

# As someone who spends A LOT of my day proofing the writing of others, there are some minor spelling and grammatical errors that tend to be present in every title (adult and non-adult). It's something that I notice, but I'm also strange.

I really wanted to give this game 5 stars but the amount of time he takes to progress with the story is ridiculous.

Yes there are side characters that you can have sex with but those are so short lived and have very little passion in them.

It's so amazing, with great writing, beautiful 3d images and the character design is the best of any game in my opinion, like Elena and Jennifer and the others, they are all so pleasant and still have such different personalities and traits that make them really interesting too.

There is many choices in this game and you can go where you want with the story, and even if not all the choices do much, the abundence of them makes you feel more like you are playing and not just clicking. The game also feels very long and has alot of content already even if it is not finished.

Edit December 2019: This game was very good when i first wrote this review, like with many of these games, they change with time, since the second half of chapter 2, the game has been going downhill alot, chapter 1 and half of chapter 2 was 9/10, but the rest is 5/10, so much repetition, lack of creativity, worse writing, changed characters, lack of choices(this games biggest positive earlier), forced ntr, etc etc. the list is long, crazy that a game can fall like that

edit May 2020: Chapter 3 has been awful so far, 1/5 stars for chapter 3 and 5 stars for 1 and 2, the quality has gone down alot and the events are just repetitions of earlier ones, no variety, no chocies, worse dialog, the only thing holding up is the graphics, but thats not enough to make a good game. 6 / 10

edit October 2020: Well, everything I said in earlier edits have come true, the game has totally transformed and become just a generic, boring, repetative kenetic novel, and all the choices made during the game have no impact at all. That together with the total deterioration in writing quality have made this game awful, through and through. I guess that shows why to never rate a game until its completed(or stopped/ended in any way). Right now this is an awful game with good graphics, 2/10.

This game is a high quality erotic VN game. Story is totally believable and just nice as it is.
You can easily take the roll of the MC and play along. Not boring at all. This game can suck you in and keep you interested for a long time.
The characters, their build-up and personalities are awesome. Gameplay is good, flowing nicely. Your choices do have consequences.
H-scenes are nice and the 3D graphics are looking good. Drawback: the childish bodies of the other girls.

Definitely a must have game for the VN fans.

This game is really good with the story being well done plus the art is very good. Sex scenes could have been better and more of em plus taking to long to get the daughter back and fucking her. The long waiting for updates is another big issue with the game but once it is finished and if the sex scenes with the daughter and her BFF are done good this is a 5 star game.

Yes based on my ratings of art, characters, sex and story it should be a 5 star rating like other games i rated with my rating system but like i said a few issues make it 4 stars for now.

This game takes the reluctant slow approach to what amounts to incest. I think tasteful might be a stretch, but it definitely plays with the idea of slowing breaking down barriers. I admittedly haven't gotten through Chapter 2 yet, but I can tell you it's an enjoyable experience. It's not a fuck your brains out style of game, it's more of a relationship development game. Don't get me wrong though, there is fucking to be had. Overall, really decent game.

I think the visuals in this game are very good, and I appreciate the restraint used with the daughter. It would be very easy to push her through to the MFM content and reported beastiality, however, Mr. Dots has shown good restraint.

I think I don't assume to much when I say I first downloaded the game with the intention of using it as fapping material. It has nice images and the story is kinky. So it fits. But on my first playthrough before I got to any 'good parts' (you know what I mean) I was already so engaged with the story that the 'original' purpose flew out the window. I simply wanted to know how it continues and to make sure they get the happy end they deserve.

I'm not saying the original purpose wasn't fulfilled in the playthroughs that followed. Some scenes are way to sexy to not do something about it.

So the long and short of it: The game is simply great and has something for everyone. A great story, very sexy images and scenes, and some kink to it.
