If You are using WT mod, delete it. I had exactly same problem. When i delete WT mod i could play normally without any problems.

outdated wt-mod, use imgame mod. always make sure that mod and game version match.

Afraid that's Not gonna happen, at least not anytime soon. This game's completed. The dev & writer said that IF they redo this, it would only be in parts, to change a couple of plotlines and maybe some early rendered scenes.
