For those saying it's a porn game, eh, I think you didn't see all of the others Adult game that are focused on porn. If you did, you'd notice the difference.
There are two kind of players, those who just desperately wait for a porn scene between F and D, and criticize Mrdots because he "intentionally" wait, so he can get cash from those people that hope for a porn scene between them two.

And there is the second kind of player, that just enjoy the story, with this F and D relationship that is pretty interesting ;-) With some erotic scenes from time to time, but their expectations are really on a storyline that is focused on realistic dialogues, and emotions, of course the whole mixed with some erotic scenes without it being the n°1 expectation.(I don't know if I'm being clear, learned english from the internet, it's not the best ^^)

Well, all I'm saying is that this game is clearly focused on a good and realistic scenario.
All those expecting porn scenes over porn scenes every 30 secondes, well you can't blame MrDots, he doesn't owe you anything, game is obtainable for free literally 30 mins after the official release. Just enjoy it instead of crying like a little kid "mommm, i didnt get what i want, fk all of themm!!", it's ridiculous ^^

This is 100% true and that's why I liked this game. It's not actually Blueballing in a sense b/c the game takes time over several months if I am not mistaken. And the Days were originally number of dates. The way it handles stuff is pretty good. Except for the part where the Daughter is Naive beyond belief. No way even a person with that sheltered a life cannot possibly be that Naive and have a friend like Elena who clearly shows massive amount of knowledge on sex.

That being said I have to wonder how these next few updates are gonna be. There are some good VN's that do more story with very little sex scenes to make it more realistic. You could say the progress between the daughter and father might even be a bit fast even with the lack of content now.

Rumor has it that this game is still in Chapter 1 and it's gonna have at least 3 Chapters. More than a year and half to go left of updates. Which is good. From what I learned from Walt about the ending of Day 13 has me greatly worried. The game is becoming way too complex and it's another "Blueballing" type event. Things were going perfect. Of course logic dictates that something like this should happen.

I think its a really great cliffhanger. My concern is that development gets sidetracked with pointless crap like other career paths. Those are flavorful things you do after you feel you have a finished product. I read somewhere on the patreon that 13 is the last planned update for awhile on the main story, with the focus on developing side archs.

Is this confirmed? If its the case, feels like a milking tactic in fear of losing subs after D gets the D.

I am not saying D is mentally retarded but if you would take a shot of liquor every time she acts like a 12 years old you would be dead.

She has a quirk filled and childish personality. It probably stems from being picked on all her life, having a controlling, distant and sheltering mother, being forced into a strict religious school, ect. Follow the plot. I think Daughter is absolutely loveable and is coming out of her shell.

These are mostly rumors that Walt Dee seems to know more about. But I wasn't aware that 0.13 was the last update for now for focus on main story. That's what I was afraid of actually and the way 0.13 ended it seemed to put a nasty taste in probably a ton of people. I can already see MrDots losing tons of Pledgers due to this kind of ending. I for one when heard about it was furious. It felt like the ending was a dead stop for development almost for D and F. Which is why I am concerned.

It's good to see that they are adding more to it. I do agree with you that the idea of side content such as Careers can be a bit nerving and become overwhelming. It would be similar to how SU does its updates with mostly costume content and not actual core content. I think Core content and all that should be focused first then add the other stuff.

What do you mean by "complex" ?

About blueballing, if you just play this game expecting a sex scene between F and D, then it's not the right state of mind you need to have when playing this game(Otherwise yeah you'll like Mrdots is just blue balling you).
When I play the game, I just expect an interesting scenario, with realistic and interesting dialogues, of course with some sensuality/erotic scenes, but that's it, the rest is an extra.

Well, games like GGGB have sex since the beginning and are more popular every month, slow corruption is one thing and slow as a snail is another.
DmD is quite popular indeed and its making pretty good numbers in Patreon, but I don't see it as the best out there, at least not for me.
Personally I think the game needs a faster pace already, you can only stretch things until one point before things go to shit, if the dev keeps this pace it will turn into a boring game.

Very well said @Ragnar I fully agree with you. It's a Snail type corruption that is totally ridiculous to keep up to this point. I think the Dev needs to start pushing things a bit quicker. In the game you will notice that it's not actually 13 days gone by but rather months have gone by if you pay attention to the story dialogue. So that being the case I think something needs to get changed like a new form of excitement or such.

Some people do not have the patience for snail paced corruption . I seen and played a few games that do this a lot better and with much better results.

Well we will find out next month for sure. The cliffhanger was great I cant imagine losing subs over that... Now if he is planning on leaving that cliffhanger then work on side content instead of core content for the next few months, that will lose subs.

What the dev is doing reminds me how SU does its costumes for each update. Each character made he makes a ton of costumes that isn't necessary and holds out on the core content and main story. That does 2 things in my opinion. One it makes people agitated since scenes don't get done quickly. Two the Dev himself is most likely gonna wear himself out and not finish the product if it becomes too much. You have to have your priorities straightened out.

Funny I played this game for the first time when 0.12 was released. And to be honest it's a bit slow. It's realistic in most ways but remember the game has already gone through months of time. Not 13 days. So he needs to quicken up some stuff. Also the side branches lock you out of good stuff with D if you do them. Which is really irritating because he does sex scenes for things that lock you out of content in daughter before those things are done. That's something that is not a good idea.

At least scale those side by side. The fact is that the game has already been out for a year. It's basically a Porn game in categorization and so people are going to expect sex scenes by now that are part of the major plot. Good we have sex with a few other characters but bad if you do them because you can't get happy ending with daughter. Who doesn't actually have any sex scenes yet. That is a bit unnerving. I would be fine if daughter has sex scenes as well with the other routes as well that lock out. Because at least I don't have to blue ball myself for those types of scenes.
