To explain myself: Obviously there should be the option to romance her but you could also have the choice not to that was my question.
Since the first time you see her is already considered to be a date the author could see a date as something not necessarily romantic.
Also there are several points where you can decide not to kiss/touch her and the MC even says in a monologue that he needs to stop the romantic part. So I thought you coukd actually do that and fuck every other women or just the mature one and be a good father, which would give the game a nice replay value.

I didn't respond to this guy's first post about a non-incestuous incest game, but then I saw the emoji at the very end and figured he was just kidding.

Between a father and daughter? I don't believe so. Something so extremely taboo does not flesh itself out in the span of two weeks, which is the length D and F took to become fully invested in each other. While the game itself is quite lengthy, the themes it presents are happening quite quickly for its standards.

It's called fiction for a reason! And, like movies, games like DMD require a certain amount of suspension of disbelief to enjoy it. If you complain that a game isn't like real life, you'll complain about just about anything.

Since the first big wave of Patreon troubles in mid-October, all game updates have been haphazard. Devs have "solved" this problem by trying to remain punctual but with less quantity.
At best, a countdown clock should start a week prior to update. But the Monday of update-week, there should be a big in-your-face countdown clock. In any case, the CC is only directly applicable to top-tier patrons.
Pirates under all flags must wait their chance...

I like the attitude a lot of devs have taken and that is either releasing a patch to put things back as they are, or letting the player decide what the pronouns and relationships are themselves.

First off...let me start off by saying i love the game....The best part is that the story progression is great as opposed to other games where it feels rushed....the intimate scenes with daughter, elena, georgina and even olivia are timed perfectly to go with the story....thats why i was dissapointed with the sex scene with jennifer in ch.2. Up to that point jennifer had met the father a total of 2 times, and from chapter one her character is shown as shy and inexperienced who is slowly being corrupted by elena. Even the father has been a perfect gentleman (relatively) throughout the game.

So both of them having no hesitation with her staying over for the night, and so far as to agreeing to anal even though she's still a virgin with no experience with guys...seems hurried and unrealistic...additionally the fact that the sex scene does not occur....makes it seems like it was just added just to cater to people who were moaning about the slow pace of the story....Personally I hope Mr.Dots sticks to his guns and does not let public pressure from altering his vision for the game.

P.S...Additional sex scenes could have been added to cater to such people by not distorting the narative. For example at the pool when the father meets christina, a sex scene could have been added, if the dad agreed, the daughter would wake up and seeing the dad missing, friendship points cud be lost. Additionally if he is gone for a long time (i.e he also chooses to hav anal sex), the daughter catches them and it rresults in game over. Similar thing could have been done at the casino with teller, with elena watching or joining in based on stats.

I agree with you in most of what you've said, but I slightly disagree in one point: "and so far as to agreeing to anal even though she's still a virgin with no experience with guys...seems hurried and unrealistic." When a teen girl is in love with her boyfriend she is more prone (than an adult) to do anything for him, including anal sex, even if she's a virgin, if she thinks refusing it would make him break up with her. But I agree Jennifer hadn't built this kind of link with the MC at that moment of the game.

Whether realistic or not, Jennifer festered a crush on MC that boiled over the Chapter 1 episodes. Elena lowered the barriers of restraint on physical intimacy - in fact made quick intimacy appear to be the cool norm. Then the rapidly developed events of the night seem more “realistic” IMO. I thought the play on Jennifer’s immaturity was rather well done.

That said, we of the dev team have tried from the start to make every girl's "subplot" feel a bit different. So we have innocent and excruciatingly-slow-to-corrupt D, experienced and "welcoming" G, naughty and dangerously enthusiast E,

Well, the fact is that being shy and innocent doesn't necessarily lead to being overly cautious and almost afraid to take further steps (as in the case of D - and there is no need for a diminshed copy!): on the contrary, sometimes it can lead to being reckless, even dangerously so - especially if you are desperate for something you still don't know how to properly obtain. Jennifer might have "put out" too easily (sorry if the formula sounds sexist :noexpression: but I am low on time and calories right now), all right, but that's something that happens all the time if you still don't know how to play the "seduction game". So yes, she was so desperate to get some attention from F before he left for Doughnistan, that she even proposed sex - any kind she could think he could like - on her first semi-proper date. Not unheard of, and perfect to make J's progression unravel very differently from D's - which was the whole point. This was at least the general idea behind the scene. As for its actual realization, how believable and relatable it felt, everybody is obviously entitled to his or her personal opinion.

Well, the fact is that being shy and innocent doesn't necessarily lead to being overly cautious and almost afraid to take further steps (as in the case of D - and there is no need for a diminshed copy!): on the contrary, sometimes it can lead to being reckless, even dangerously so - especially if you are desperate for something you still don't know how to properly obtain. Jennifer made herself too "easy", that's for sure, but that's something that happens all the time if you still don't know hot to play the "seduction game".
