Just a note guys.
So, the forum moderators recently made the decision to move the game art appreciation threads to off topic. These are different from these fan art threads in that us artists here often share original pieces, or photoshop existing art in some fashion to create something different.
This bothers me for a couple of reasons. One, this forum promotes gaming, so game art appreciation is definitely on topic in my opinion.
MORE importantly, apparently likes are disabled in off topic, and that forum is un-moderated. A number of people will avoid that forum because it's (supposedly) off topic and un-moderated. The fact that likes are no longer allowed in that forum just makes it worse.
Anyways, I'm pretty upset about this. Not because I've personally had threads moved there. This has happened to me before, and most of my likes come from fan art and art assets threads these days, and my Enthralled comic of course. So the number of likes I get from art appreciation threads is a tiny percentage of my likes overall. But, because I can no longer share my appreciation when someone else shares a pic I like, a pic which might convince me to check a game out.
People should be free to like these posts if they so choose, and not allowing said likes discourages people from sharing in some regard. Why bother posting a followup pic if no one else cares? How do you know if anyone cares if likes aren't in the equation. Short of someone replying, which just generates more spam posts if the post is 'That's cool', which is what a like is for. Forcing people to reply instead... well some people simply won't reply.
Anyways, this has really harshed my mellow when it comes to sharing my fan art. In my case, a boycott seems a bit extreme, and some people like my fan art. But if this bothers you as well, I'd encourage you to let the moderators know.
Here's the thread where I've raised my objection to this change. I've stated my personal viewpoint on this to TCMS, it's up to others to express their own opinions, if they care.

A few of us have shared a few of their own fan art pics in these art appreciation threads BTW, myself included, so it is sorta related to this thread, in that it does relate to DMD occasionally. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

This D should be used in DMD.
I would say stripper D but all those chains on her boots would destroy a brass pole. Not to mention interfere with D being able to grip the pole.
