I've seen arguments that shaved genitalia among adult women at least culturally is meant to promote confidence in its appearance, its cleanliness, etc (despite the fact that the hair exists in order to protect the area around the genitalia.) But ultimately, hair on or around genitalia is an indicator of age since it's prominent among pubescent and post pubescent individuals. I wouldn't go as far as to call someone who prefers a shaved pussy a pedo, but as far as it concerns Immoral Desires, Lana's age, and its contrast to Daniel's, plays a key role in their dynamic. Now it's not lost on me that Daniel, who's supposedly an "adult" is not only shorter than Lana, but also lacks any pubic hair. But at the very least, Lana maintained a mature appearance. And Lana shaving that trail completely, in my opinion, is just... weird.
