Again, let's not forget how this story started, a mom and a son with such a bad relationship that he used to call her by her name, then only started to care about her when he saw her almost naked, it may have evolved into love, but it started out as lust and obsession and probably a little of resentment.
Don't get me wrong, he clearly loves her, but he also wants to make her his "sex slave", has been saying that or something similar for many issues already, he worships her but also wants to own her and she seems fine with that if we read her thought bubbles and see her actions.
