Oh, I remember the models from a slightly different series. Did they already have their cameo in a chapter of Madness, because I don't remember that, or do they come in a later chapter?

Because it's not necessary. Lana's friend along with Daniel's cousin and her friend are incidental characters. While Sofia and Martha are ''secondary'' characters. Sure, they can make decisions that will have repercussions for the main characters, in this case Daniel and Lana, but they are still secondary. Regardless of their existence, the story follows a concise course. Everyone has their own interpretation in this case, but as I see it, ID's story is the story of a mother who took the edge and now can't let go. In one interpretation, Daniel is like the forbidden fruit and, since Lana ate it, she can't stop eating it. Meanwhile, Daniel can be seen in a number of ways, both with his Oedipus complex as is evident, and with the psychology of the self, the id and the superego. Ah, Daniel, he can be seen as the it, since he operates under the pleasure principle and contains the instincts. But coming to the main point, the story of ID is the story of a mother and her son, nothing more.
Of course, there is also the interpretation of how Daval wants to continue the story.
And he didn't blame the fans who forgot about their existence, it just goes to show how inconsequential those characters are. Simply put, Daval would have to make another nice design for ID and people would quickly forget about Sofia and Martha. Of shown how much those characters truly matter.
Also, if they want to see Sofia and Martha in action so badly, why don't they ask for a prequel to ID with the prod kids, instead of wanting to change Lana and Daniel's story?

In conclusion, it is riculo to want to change a story that is already established, as what, as well as to modify solid bases of this same one. Just to see more ''action''. That is to say, when you see a chapter of ID you know what you are going to the story of a mother with her son, the same as when you see one of SN. You know what you're going to see the story of a Harem. It's frankly ridiculous to want to change a story or add something just to make it more interesting to the eye of the beholder.
