It's lighting. Clearly the light source is coming from the top, and the light hitting her mandibular teeth are being obscured by protrusions on her face like her upper lip, nose, and cheek bones. There's also the fact that they're inside her mouth. In most of the premade female poses for DAZ Studio, the feet are in the high heel position. So this
without high heels looks a bit weird. I know it's probably an unimportant detail, but sometimes it's all in the details.
Quite often in comics we can see the text like "A few moments later" or something like this. And that's a good thing when you want to quickly skip the plot. In this particular case, it wouldn't really fit. But
is not much better either. In one scene, Alex and Lana alone, and in the next, Daniel just pops up in the middle of the scene.
