If Lana's "marriage is dead" and she wanted a divorce, on what grounds could such a divorce be granted, Lana being the guilty party indulging in a torrid incestuous adulterous affair with her own biological son with Alex himself being blameless. If Alex disappeared how would Lana and Daniel survive in the style they are accustomed to? Neither Alex or Lana can be independently wealthy because I remember Lana saying that she and Alex were saving money to send Daniel to college.The idea that Alex would knowingly tolerate his son having non-stop sex with his wife and biological mother, under the roof he is paying for, with him a part of that household and picking up the bill for everything is totally ridiculous even in a fantasy as preposterous as ID.

I really don't think that Lana and Daniel are going to sail off into the sunset and live happily ever after.

ID is Davl3Ds most popular product and I am sure that he will want to keep it going for as long as possible. While the "blue pill" scenario might be something throwaway, that will come and go quickly, my bet is that the other McGuffin that got introduced at the end of Lana's stay with Martha, i.e., the Therapist, will be important in the future to the plot. I can think of dozens of ways the story could twist and turn because of this but am not going to play the oracle here because the storyline of ID is silly to the point of random.

That said as long as it keeps going and has Lana art on which to feast my eyes I'll stick with it.

Alex is low in virility now—mostly through overwork, based on the story—but would a hot-blooded beauty like Lana have married, and stayed married to him for at least 18 years (based on Daniel's probable age), if he had always been a dud in bed? I can't see it myself. A woman as gorgeous as Lana could have anybody she liked and the fact she picked Alex to be with must mean he was something really special at some point. Alex must have been a real stud once upon a time for Lana to have wed and remained with him long-term. Maybe with a little chemical help, rest and recreation he could win back both his mojo and Lana's interest. Or not. Who knows? Only time will tell. I would definitely like to find out though based on the story. A good story involves readers in what is going on emotionally, mentally and internally within the story's characters in ways that graphics alone can't manage, which is why a good story matters—even in comics.

When it comes to comics, I expect an engaging story to accompany great graphics. Seeing comic characters work their way through the Kama Sutra, posture by posture, with little or no drama involved, does make a person with an active brain lose interest over time—no matter how stunningly beautiful the characters happen to be. Empty shells and hollow vessels just aren’t interesting long-term, and I’m hoping a generous shot of drama, comedy, emotion, conflict, jeopardy, surprise—anything to shake and spice up ID storywise—gets added to the mix ASAP. We’ll see. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

this comic has 10 chapters so far and started off strong with introducing multiple friends from lana and daniels side, a decent corruption path, but everything around those two got scraped, and currently as i said, each chapter lana and daniel are just location fucking with the same dialogue.

It always astonishes me how, instead of asking for quality and growth, people such as yourself keep defending it and become offended when the superficiality is being called out. Maybe you should explore more facets of the 3D porn world so you might understand what this comic lacks.

If I recall, in chapter four, Lana states that Alex is the only man other than Daniel, with whom she has been. Lana, when first introduced, was presented as the dutiful housewife who was pretty content with married life. It was only after listening to her friends, and witnessing their sexual relations with Martha's nephew and his friend, that Lana became "curious" and started to reexamine her own sex life. And so Daniel enters. His character and methods were necessary to break Lana out of that mold, and engage the kind of sex that most of Daval's subscribers want to see. I don't think Alex was particularly "a stud." I think that in their heyday, Lana and Alex were two decent people who happened to be attracted to one another. Alex must've had a nice enough personality, and made a decent enough living; thus, making Alex a suitable husband. Lana, paradoxically, appears to be both aware of and oblivious to her own appearance. Lana, early on, tended to cover up, and in Chapter 11, she mentions feigning her inability to swim because she didn't like the leers of strange men; however, she gets jealous over characters like Martha and Sofia, who don't even remotely compare to her. I suppose that's part of Lana's appeal, i.e. she's too meek and modest to know how insanely attractive she is.

I agree with you that a good story matters; it can't be helped however how we each see and debate over that which we define as a "good story."

Don't get me wrong, the dialogue leaves a lot to be desired, but if your only conclusion from reading these 11 chapters is "it's the same story, but different location" then aren't you guilty of the very thing you lamented in that you've only been paying attention to the "uhguguh big tits and ass..."?

I don't think it's so much people getting offended as much as it is demanding that the critics spell out that which can be done better. And in my experience, what they want "improved," has nothing to do with either its story or its tone. They just want something "different."

Personally recently at least from chapter 8 i didnt watch ID..its not attraction to me anymore... ID nothing interesting offers to me tbt except maybe various position of sex of lana and daniel..MT is only work of daval that i interested in bc of its story.
