I was hoping that Sharon and Kiara might become antagonists for Daniel, working against him seeking revenge, which would add some spice to Daval's predictably sordid tale. The Sharon and Kiara characters are only irrelevant if Daval doesn't expand the part they play in the story, wasting them same as he has wasted other potentially entertaining characters, e.g., Martha, Sofia and Rosa, who could have been flavoursome additions to the ID mix if given the chance. Maybe mover and shaker Alexa "Incest Queen" Thomson might spark something novel and arresting in ID but I doubt it. We'll have to wait and see. ID as it is now is shit.
