Oh, thanks a lot for the advice, I will try to fix it in future work.iray is the way to go if your computer can handle it.
Look up photography lighting and TV show/movie lighting. The concepts transfer directly to iray rendering.
Your sword is getting lost in the texture of the rock. You can barely see it. It's either a rust texture or a reflection from the tree/rock that's on the blade but it's making it difficult to see.
try selecting the sword and go to surfaces and find reflection and reduce itOh, thanks a lot for the advice, I will try to fix it in future work.
You are going to have to lighten her hair if you keep her out in the sun...heehee.Thought I'd swing back around and share one of the test renders from today's Stream.

Absolutely amazing
I did a render in this environment a while back, I used ghost lights on the windows as well as setting my hdri intensity set to 2. I created mesh lights out of the default spotlights and set them to rectangle with a size of 50x50. if you use mesh lights the shadows wont be as sharp and it wont look like shes being lit up by a flashlight. The main problem with this render is that there is no natural light or at least not enough.I dropped my pencil.
Playing with lighting. It's harder than I thought it would be. View attachment 802156
