To counter that dark shadow on the side of the face you can add a little fill light on that side, not too strong otherwise you'll lose the contrast of your other lights again.

turn the dome rotation to 45' should fix it. you can see the light is only coming from the right side aka 0'.

You can change the rotation like Shield said, you can also use an emissive plane to light the face, just need to change the opacity to .0001 in the geometry tab to hide it after you're done adjusting the light.
