Ty! In all honesty, I'm not trying to make my girls pretty, I'm trying to make them look like someone to meet on the street. It is sheer luck if some of them are pretty to some of you
So if I understand you. You're making an adult/porn game and you don't care if the readers/players of your game, whom you are trying to attract to read/play your game, find your girls unattractive. I get you may be making this simply for your own satisfaction, but if you're seeking a popular game you might want to reconsider that point of view.

Just sayin

Thank you for your feedback. Scars are actually a great idea and would give a little bit more edge. I'll have to see if I can find something like that.
This is good for body scars
and for face scars there are these two assets

First of all, I'm not making a game and I'm not planning to do so in near future. Maybe the title "MC" is a bit misleading in my case, he's only the MC for some of my renderings, nothing more.
But yes, I really don't care if others find my characters unattractive. Because that's how life is, some do like this, others do like that, and I wont make characters that everyone likes. For me, they all have their own subjective beauty, so do women in real life. This beauty often is not visible on the first sight, and I want my characters to transport exactly this vibe. Cause for those that like to admire characters that are meeting common ideals of beauty, there are enough premade character assets out there. I wouldn't have to spend three to four hours to make a character just as normal, imperfect and human if I wanted to portray the popular ideal.
Nobody is judged by me for liking stylized, big boobed and small waisted sculptures more than my characters, but it's simply not that, what I want to do. And luckily, I don't have to rely on making the most popular game possible in order to make money. Unfortunately, others do not have this freedom or at least do not want it.
Sorry for the long text :D

Yeah my apologies. I confused you with a game developer. My bad. Create whatever floats your boat and ignore clueless jerks like me. :)
I should have paid more attention.

No need to be sorry, your comment was absolutely understandable and justified. I'm pretty sure others have the same thoughts

Thank you for your feedback. Scars are actually a great idea and would give a little bit more edge. I'll have to see if I can find something like that.

About the lighting, I'm just designing new characters and it's my character building light rig. I usually use same lighting for all characters, and then try to make the skin of all the characters look decent in that same lighting. That way later on it's easier for me to tweak environment's lighting when all character skins have same kind of base value.

So basically these are not really meant to be artistic or anything, but more like character drafts for a game that hopefully sees the light of day some day. I just think it's fun to share these and ask for feedback to see how people feel about them.

Anyways, here's youth crush and current landlady of MC. I hope she's not looking too young. I was going for late 30s/early 40s look.... but that seems to be super hard age. People at that age don't usually have much wrinkles yet, but they don't look like they are 20 anymore either. Maybe it's about the skin maps or face shape or something to achieve that look, but I feel it's always either too many or too few wrinkles. Haha, and yeah I know, it's shocking that landlady is not MC's mother :p

Nailed it IMO. Subtleties around the eyes and mouth. (y)
