So, i was working on a game, and today i tried indecents desires, and... same house... one girl looking close to mine... i came too late, and the game has better render than mine, so all the renders are going to the delete world.
Instead of deleting them asap, you should compare them, to the other ones, you believe, are better. Look at the differences and see, what you can do, to improve on your own renders. And after that, screw the other game, by making your vision of your game superior.
I liked the basic concept of BigBrother, but I hated what it had grown into. Now I'm working on my own ideas for the concept, and have renders I like more.
3gb more ram is probably what you will pay for with the Ti
rendering times will not be that much faster.
i mean if it takes 1 hour of rendering with the 2080 i maybe takes 50 minutes with the Ti.
and if you are smart you use batch renderer and the GPU can render several scenes when your not using the computer.
if you get 10 renderers with batch render in lets say 8 hours with the 2080 you probably gain one more with the Ti.
as i see it its not worth the extra price and 8gb is enough for me.
from the scenes i have been using now it only uses around 5gb of ram.
a better way is to get two 2080s in SLI
there you will cut the rendering times in half.
You're right, but more ram enables bigger and more complicated scenes with more assets--a difficulty I've encountered quite a bit. I'm also gonna be using it for more than just rendering, so I'd like to have it be as strong as possible on all fronts. You're definitely right about the productivity gains from using batch renderer, holy cow that tool changed a lot for me.

That's not entirely right, rtx2080 have 2944 cuda cores, rtx 2080ti 4352, it's about 30% diffrence so for example if you render scenes for 10 hours with first card, with second you can do it for 7, 3 hours of time and 3 more gb of Vram it's pretty efficient(for someone time might not be important, but Vram can't be ignored that easily) if you have 1 card in main slot, your vram automaticaly became not 8, but 7 gb, coz it's uses it's power on display and things like that, and now DAZ 4.11 iray doesn't have any support for RTX cards, it works, but not for 100% (thats for sure may be 10% faster then 1080ti), rtx core and optixPrime Acceleration not going to work at the moment. Of course one can work with 2080 and every card that have cuda cores, i just think and my opinion if you have opurtunity to buy 2080 ti instead of 2080, you should do it.
Well, there might be situation that you can render a single scene for 5 hours or something, that could help a little) well 2080 still very powerfull card in any case, for a game dev i believe the best choice would be to buy titan x pascal, couple of them, or rig with 3-4 1080ti
I was looking at a hentai doujinshi cover and had the urge to recreate the pose and this was the result. Surprisingly, it didn't take very long to recreate, nor was it very hard.
I was testing clothes for a night scene. I can't do anything with the little skirt : no dForce, and it doesn't follow the different poses.
The top is interesting, I like it.
Just 2 sphere lights (one little red (10*10 diameter) red front left above, one big (100*100 diameter) blue front right above), and the sky with stars (you can see the reflection on the top).
She is walking on the docks but with depht of field, we don't see anything.
But love the pic.
Great and natural looking picture with an amazing soft light there!
havnt tested all lights yet here but i will...have only used Daz 3D for about 3 weeks now and still learning
Here is my Daz3d set for this render : (I'm working with 3 2560*1440 screens, so I have a extra wide window for Daz3d).
Everything you need to reproduce is on this screen (the two pointlights with every component are there) and every other things.
What is important : working with "environnement intensity" & "exposure value" in "Render Settings" tab.
Exposure value is like in photgraphie and is the most important.
Environnement intensity will light objects of the scene if some are too dark.
You must test a lot to understand how it works.
When this is ok, you can add lights push lights on your character or others things.
I've put a litthe red light on the left, and a big blue one on the right to give the scene a nice night feeling.
I've pushed everything I could in this render and "Bloom", it was a test I never use "Bloom" in Daz scenes because it is running out the CPU. Don't do it.
You can add blur with photoshop manually.
It's very hard to understand different lights, different components in a scene, in the beginning in Daz3d.
You must try, look for tutos, read, learn and test a lot again and again.
I've dl Daz on July 2018. Now, I think I begin to understand how to light a scene. I learn every day.
With this screen, you can reproduce everything I've done. Try to find the products in "Asset Release" or here
I'm not the best here, many other members are better than me. I'm trying my best to improve my lvl in Daz and Photoshop with this F95 community. I try to help when I have time to do it. If yoy have other questions, ask !
So I got tired of doing Monochrome and decided to try to create a character using a G8 model theres more stuff you can do with the sliders etc but its also a lot easier to go over the top. So in the end I created Olga and tried to be a bit more adventurous with a render with her in it, this is probably the best render I have done to date
