In addition to all the advice you've already got, it's worth mentioning that like with the rest of tools in Daz, you'll find additional and useful settings under the Tool settings pane when Mesh grabber is your selected tool.My Brain just packed it's Suitcase and left for good. Looking at this Mesh Grabber Program on the DAZ Page... it seems way to complicated for my old Brain.
Maybe I find some Videos about it?
Well for now, I guess, it's just better for me to stick to simple Poses and Morphs - LOL
From a techical point of view, sure, you can. But you'll surely want to grow your library with figures and other assets. The vast majority of these are not actually free. But you can get many of them without spending a penny in sites like this one and others. Can you make good rendors in Daz with the free base program or has everyone been having to buy certain packages?
Can confirm, only achieved crimes against God so far with dForceOh if you think your brain took a trip with meshgrabber. Ya should start messing around with Dforce.. Your brain won't even send you a post card.![]()
Absolutely !!! I use Man Fridays Dforce Companion which takes most of the worry, and works great for quick and dirty stuff, but still susceptible to Blowouts...Can confirm, only achieved crimes against God so far with dForce
Okay so in this clip I see the "Orb" Thingy from Mash Grabber over the Hair, I get that too, but how the heck does it magically happen that these "yellow Lines" appear on the Hair, I don't see anything moving in that Video?! If I try that I drag the whole Orb around and the Hair is just deforming at one tiny Spot and looks awful.here is a quick video on how to use it You just select mesh grabber from the tools dropdown menu. Make sure you select the item you want to before selecting mesh grabbber. Then you can grab the mesh and then just hold left mouse button and select it and with the arrows you can move it any direction
You must be registered to see the links
You need to select a larger portion of hair and move it in one go. If you just select one spot like you said it will just move that one face. For me I found mesh grabber rather annoying to use and started using zbrush instead. I'd recommend that program as a whole over mesh grabber but that's just me. If you do want some more information about zbrush drop me a message and I can help you out.Okay so in this clip I see the "Orb" Thingy from Mash Grabber over the Hair, I get that too, but how the heck does it magically happen that these "yellow Lines" appear on the Hair, I don't see anything moving in that Video?! Maybe I need to look at some more Information's/Tutorials.

You have a good start but reference can help you out a lot. I would suggest looking at photos from stasyq who are a professional modeling studio that does a lot of really great natural and soft lighting photos that you can use to guide your lighting.Lighting and Angle experiment! Feedback welocme. (Lighting: Sun Sky + 1 ghostlight from top-behind angled downwards) View attachment 3474605

Again like I said if you want any help or have any questions about zbrush drop me a PM. It is a paid software but there is a site were you can get it if you don't mind sailing the seven seas.
In the mean time I'll leave you to try out mesh grabber.
