Likely the same reason most of the dicks in these renders are about a foot and a half long and as thick as an arm - artistic expression and personal preference.Why does the black woman look like she rubbed Vaseline all over her body?

Apologies for necroing the post, but I thought it better to do a search for similar before indulging in a little (semi) rant of my own.
I like the look and detail of Polish's assets very much. But there are some annoying flaws. I get that they specialize in "luxury environments," but it took me too long and a lot of frustration with posing to realize that they overscale furniture by 10-20 percent. Fir example, there's no way that a crate furniture chair should have a cushion height of two feet. The standard seat height for most furniture is 18-20 inches. It leaves an average person/figure's feet dangling, even assuming that the cushion is more compressible than any cushion should be.

1st render that I tried lighting differently, and maybe, (just by accident?), got the lighting to look kinda better? I can see where I need to tweak it some. (ok a lot) Would love to go back and adjust stuff, but I don't save anything to a duf file. 1 and done. Oops. (original render in spoiler. Went back to turn off headlight, but noticed I didn't even have a camera.) This is around my 35th-ish render, so still a newb, but trying. - Silent Hill -
