Currently not very active in the CGI department.
But I got a nice result from an experiment today.
The ingredients where:
Genesis 8 base model
Victoria 8 skin texture
Anatomical Elements for Genesis 8
Toulouse Hair for Genesis 8
I posed the model in DAZ and rendered it in Blender 2.80 with cycles.
I'm not very experienced when it comes to importing stuff to Blender. Normally I sculpt everything I need in there. So I run into quite some problems.
1.) The eyes weren't visible through the moisture layer. So I had to fix that.
2.) The hair textures didn't translate well. I had to fix the transparency in them.
3.) Golden Palace and NGV8 didn't play nice with Blender hence their Geoshells. Haven't found a good solution jet.
I really like the way, cycles deal with colours thanks to the Filmic colourspace methods. The best part was. The whole picture is composed of three separate pictures. One for each light. And each image was rendered with 1024 samples. The whole rendering process, for all images together, was less than 15 Minutes.
