Haha, takes me more than 15 minutes to set up one of my minimalist scenes even with a pose preset

I attribute it to the sheer volume of images I'm putting together. In the last three days I've done over 50 images for the game. That kind of repetition just makes you faster at grabbing tools, sliders, etc. You eventually learn where the things you need are, and you develop little short cuts with the active pose, translate and universal tool. I got my hot keys down and pretty much fly through the posing portion of things.

Thanks! It's actually just one spot light parented to the camera just slightly above it., that's it. Initially when I first tried out the lighting, I just wanted the disposable camera look common in the 90s. It's not exact, but I ended up liking what I got anyway. Great thing about it is it really cuts down on the render time.

That's the understatement of the year. There's a long way before anything will make actual real skin refractions as good as a real person, but, the results, with the right lighting, overall environment and post-editing are very plausible and convincing
