I forgot about Goanna, they have some good models. Just a note about HerYun, it is only hair, no characters. I would only consider Yoyo from Hamster 'normal' (not stylized). Grace Yong from Rarestone is the only character of theirs that I like.

Any way you look at it, there is now a fairly good choice for ethnic variety so we can move away from all North American or Middle European characters.

I do like that one from HerYun though. But yes, the majority of his work is hair.

I think the result would be better with a lighter skin or better lighting to light out the skin. But yes, she is not a freak and that is something

Skin generated (and blended) with facegen, slightly edited with PS. Quickly made specular/bump map with materialize and normal ones with substance.

Far form perfect as it was mostly a test, but I think facegen can be a solid base for texturing (as long as you work with really high def photos).
