Gonna leave this one here as a suggestion, wanted to play ever since i saw the animations:

"Iyashinbo The Motion"

Could be quite hard, if not impossible since game engine is pretty weird.

Anyway, would the translation tool you developed, work with a proxy?

Don't know how much you heard of that already, but some people make proxies for Claude and GPT
where you pass a link, and a key for the proxy, and make api calls for free.

(The proxies are fed stolen key's that were scrapped, basically)

Could save you some bucks, basically free translation.
I've tried one before and not only are they slow but the quality was definitely different. But yeah it should be possible.

Since Sugoi managed to MTL it I can probably do the same. Though I'd probably only do it via commission.

I've been using the tool for a while and it's been great for the most part. Now I've been playing around with trying to use encodings, like base64, in order to further bypass their censorship and flagging. Main motivations are to try to avoid further censorship and/or banning of your account/org. The idea is that using encodings as input and getting ChatGPT to output encodings as well should completely bypass any automated flagging or filtering.

The main issue I've ran into is that ChatGPT seems unable to consistently interpret the steps properly without botching some part of the process. I got it to the point that it mostly decodes and translates but some letters are fucked when I decode the translation that it outputs. Curious to see if anyone else has tried similar things and gotten results. I tried this with GPT 3.5 and it doesn't look like GPT 4 can do it either.

Have you considered using Mistral Medium?

It's much cheaper than GPT4.

I actually used the small model, 8x7b, and it honestly surprised me how good it can be with a barebone system prompt. It still has pretty bad hiccups, like unable to fully understand context or failing to correctly translate names, but for a local model it's far above any other. still below GPT4, however. Maybe the medium model is better, but for now it's behind a waitlist so I can't test it.

Considered yes but have not put into practice yet. I hear Mixtral is around 3.5's quality and I need something with 4's quality.

I'm using to extract the texts from VN and dump it into .json files to a folder. Then I opened the folder using VSCode, from there I'm able to select the whole file and ask Github Copilot to "translate". The AI understand the context pretty good, sometimes it missed an entry or two but it's no big deal. The problem is that it gets filtered so often. How you deal with that?

I'm not sure you can control the prompt for Github Copilot so unsure how you would get around that. I don't give any explicit instructions in the prompt myself to get around the filter, the API just doesn't filter very often.

Does this work on a simple .txt file? Reason I ask is because it could be useful to translate scripts from ASMRs and such. Some ASMRs even come in a .srt or .vtt format with subtitles or include the script in a .txt.

Attached the script for RJ01118368 as a sample file.

The txt model might work, but its still a bit outdated atm. I'll need to find time to go back and take a look.

Thanks for the hard work, I have some questions

About your commission list, is there a criteria for what kind of game can enter ?

Can we see the list of projects that you are working?

How many requests do you take for person ?

1. Game has to be translatable in the first place. WOLF and SRPGmaker for example are impossible for me. But I can work with you on this.
2. . Current Projects are shared in the Discord.
3. 1 per person. After I complete your request, you can rejoin the queue to request another work.

I have a question. Is this tool completely free?

Or do i need to pay any type of money anywhere in order to be able to use this tool?

I would assume you would have to pay for better *quality MTL translation*, but im wondering if there is also a *free MTL translation*.

Unless my assumption is wrong here?
