This game was doing very well at the beginning with the old version until you decided to change it and only put incest. I commented at the time and was criticized by some and praised by others. As I had thought, this would not end well. Here is the result of your changes.
One thing is certain: games have their pros and cons, but if every DV started out with something they had in mind and then decided to change it after the criticism, no one would finish any game.... You should have continued with your ntr tag and continued with what you had in mind. I guarantee you would have gotten more support from the few than from the many who hate it.

I would 100% agree with this but...
This story was clearly built for incest in the first place. Even the first shitty 0.1 version that eventually got reworked started the same, a family alone in the apocalypse. Two teens full of hormones and a protective hot mother. Can it be more obvious? Even the developer notes say at the beginning that the ntr scenes are not the focus and are only there for realism, cause it's a damn apocalypse and no one thinks straight.

Honestly, I'm not surprised the game was labeled abandoned, and to be honest, the last update of the game was a bit boring for me, where the sex was with the son, mom, and sister, and in between there was maybe some more content and that was it, and the game was cool.

Main developer Hot Tomato went MIA without warning after V0.8. His co-developer Ryukiru had no choice but to release whatever remaining stuff he had on hand which is the current incomplete V0.9.1
Ryukiru is currently on a hiatus from developing his own game Sinful Summer, so the future of Deadmoon remains unknown.

I don't think its abandoned yet. I've been following for a while and I've noticed the Dev is slow as hell. Give it a few more months, either there'll be a new update or the Dev will just up and disappear. Hopefully the former. I rather liked this one.

I hope so cause the build up between both mom and sis has been amazing! I hope we get at least one more update where both mom and sis finally lose all control. And I hope there is pregnancy planned in the devs timeline. Would make sense given the situation. Maybe not between the mom and sis, but definitely with other women. I mean this guy is the first immune to the disease, so spread that cure buddy!
