This game is amazing, any other games like it? Preferably with sex scenes involving zombies =)
As for the "sex with zombies" part that's something where I cannot help you as that's not my sort of thing.

But, games with about the same themes of zombie apocalypse scenario, widespread catastrophe or the like, I've always recommended the same three games:
- Now&Then by ILS. (and to a lesser extent, the other games they did afterwards: The Interim Domain and Toxicity)
- Mist by Rathieu
- Desert Stalker by Zetan.

Good game. Yeah, a bit of abruptly ended. Have some small problems (backgrounds, colors, dumb games inside, etc.), but still solid 4/5 stars. Especially remember about rare setting. Good job Dev and good luck.

One of the best zombie-themed games I've ever played. It's a shame it ended so quickly. I keep wondering what would have happened if Tony/Heidy hadn't been killed by Mc's father.
He did the right thing because Elisabeth was losing herself and forgetting about her family, and that would have ended up killing them all anyway. But I was loving the cheating content..
In short, the game itself is fun, even the fighting parts are funny. I love this game, man. Thank you to the developer for the effort they put in. I just wish there were more scenes of cheating with mom and other survivors.

And let's not forget Juliet, the girl is amazing, a great sister and lover. :coffee:
I'm getting a strong urge to play it all again, and I'm going to do it. The game deserves five stars, and that's it!
I still crave more cheating content featuring Elisabeth. Unfortunately, there wasn't much, but I can imagine what could have happened if that content had been explored a bit more.

Originally, that scene was only on the cheating path but it got added later to the normal one too because of a very important reason last update. If you guys hadn't figured it out it's because

So yeah this thing in particular is canon, but the cheat/non cheat route from Eli at the start of the apocalypse was supposed to continue as a branch I think.

Yes, I realized that at the end. It's interesting to know that MC has a brother who's a bit stronger than him. That twist at the end was awesome, leaving you wanting more, wow! :p
But unfortunately, it's over.

That was really cool, it should have continued, that content revolving around the apocalyptic plot was a good move.
And in the end, the cheating scenes were worth it. It was fair for Eli.

So I've finally set aside time to complete V0.9 + 1.0. I suppose it was a bittersweet finale that lived up to my expectations considering the game was marked for abandonment not too long ago, but yet at the same time I couldn't help but feel deeply disappointed that Deadmoon will never lift up to its true potential.

Special mention on the bus top scene, it was certainly unexpected - emotionally powerful, grotesque and vulgar at the same time. It reminded me of the finale in the film Perfume. Batshit crazy and euphoric at the same time.

Unfortunately, the signs of truncation are obvious towards the end, everything's rushed and pacing was a noticeable departure from the V0.8 material. The two endings were better than nothing as some form of closure, but certainly not ideal.

Do you guys think the "farmer" or the "lich king" ending is closer to what would have been the canonical full story? My personal preference is the farmer one.

Speaking as someone who completed the "evil" route, I'm honestly split on this game. Make no mistake, the effort put into the direction, the scenes and the content was great, and the writing up until the "MC becomes a detached edgelord" turn was really engaging. But then the final quarter of the game happened, along with an unnecessarily miserable teaser for a sequel project that may never happen. What was the point of introducing multiple story elements that shake up the entire plot of the game if you were never going to use them, and they would simply serve to make the characters lives worse, especially if you were planning on ending it? After that, for as enjoyable as the experience was while it lasted, I genuinely don't know if I would recommend this game to another new player since, like me, they are likely to find that the entire intricately crafted story just leads to an ending that is both unsatisfying and quite frankly needless.

Both the original Dev (and Ruykiru as someone who was close to the development) explained a few pages back what was the original planned direction for the game, before Hot Tomato had to finish it more or less "on the spot".

The original plan if im remembering correctly was to have four endings, one of them quite similar to the "good one" we've got in the current 1.0. The other three probably were in order of less idilic, up to straight up bad or "evil" ending.

Here: https://f95zone.to/threads/deadmoon-survival-v1-0-hot-tomato.97784/post-18342045 you can read it first hand from the Dev himself.

Here: https://f95zone.to/threads/deadmoon-survival-v1-0-hot-tomato.97784/post-18514340 I made a small summary of what could have been expected from the "longer game", joining a few different pieces of info gotten here and there.

Thanks for sharing both posts, they were certainly insightful. The canon concept from the developer is interesting, but from a commercial perspective my take is it is unlikely to work even if circumstances allow for Hot Tomatao and Ryukiru to continue.

DMS is too deeply embedded into the tripartite incest arrangement for a mid departure to another clique of completely different characters with (I assume) a bunch of new LIs. The whole thing would likely cause an outrage and plunge in subscribership - can't expect incest loving people who plough through 14 hours of blue balls / teasing with two family members to now accept something completely different.

At the same time the people who are not into slow burn incest aren't going to go through a long game play on incest in a confined home setting just to reach the part where a more normal sci-fi story takes over with non familial LIs.

Of course there might be people like me who don't really care or mind any kinks as long as the story's good, but I am well aware I belong to the super minority of players who feel this way.
