Not to be an asshole about it, but some people are very sensitive on who a potential or main LI have sex with and for that it does not really has to conform to definition three letter tag or not.
This game in introduction has the step mother shown active with various people even if one is a dream of MC and if that is the way you want to take your game and have her active with many, that is great. Shows clearly what players can expect, if the intention is very romantic MC story all about MC in future that is different though and well the start is not great.Just make sure you are consistent with where you want to take the game and good luck and have fun developing it.

Well, I gave this a try out of curiosity and it looks like a revenge story and not a romance one, at least when it comes to the stepmother. Also the dev apparently wanted to shove as many tags with sexual content as possible in a 10' gameplay and that made the MC look more like a voyeur cuck than an inexperienced guy who found his stepmom hot, which I guess was the dev's intention. No, it's not an opinion of what it should be, it's a fact. The actual definition. If the site said white is actually black. Would you agree with that too? The only thing it proves is the site lack diversity of tags.

Your complaint was that he shouldn't be using the tag, the site defines what tags for what content. So your opinion on whether or not he should be using that tag is fucking irrelevant. Also legal definitions of incest vary from country to country. In some countries step-relations are legally defined as incest.
Which is irrelevant to his complaint as to whether the creator of the game should be using the tag. The site decides what tags belong to what content. Not us.

Go to pornhub and search on incest and see how much you find? You won't find any because they are not allowed to use such tags at all. You can search on steph whatever and get results. Not the same. Find me laws in any country where steph siblings not allowed to get married? You can't, as they not related by blood they can. At least bring the recites if you make claims.
Over time you will have people keep ask about where is the incest in game, and there is none by that definition. End of the day, the issue is lack of diversity when it come to certain tags. If I call you a monkey, and define you as a monkey. Will you accept you are a monkey because I define you as one? Or you still a human? Another issue is the creator use a tag that will draw people to his game for a certain fetish and then not deliver on it, but that will be his headache.
