A few weeks ago it was "end of april". So... yeah i don't think this announcement means anything.
Cant install the android version. Phone block that automaticly. So other games work. Why doest this one work?
The dev's finally given a solid date after quite some time now. So we can reasonably expect it to really drop this time around.

By "after quite some time now," I meant after the last promised date which was Jan 20.
About 3 months since he announced any date, but not only that it's been a total of about 9 months since the last update.
Again, we can reasonably expect it to be delivered this time around cause that amount of time seems sufficient for the dev to have been able to work everything out, especially when it comes to cropping the gameplay mechanics and rewriting some parts of the game narrative.
But look, I understand being skeptical about the release date after all the missed deadlines. No one wants to feel diasppointed. However, at this point in time, it's pointless continuing to doubt any release date if you're still choosing to stick around. It's all the more pointless if you're not even financially supporting the dev. After all, you lose nothing sticking around as free to play.
So if anyone's still sticking around, whether free or paying, it's better to keep believing in the dev than to doubt them. We gotta keep that positive energy so the dev stays motivated. At least that's what I'd like to believe in.

Here's a new perspective I got from someone else on discord.
By "May 4-5," the game could be released at a time where the calendar date is still May 4 in some countries but already May 5 in others.
I'm predicting the release is gonna drop some time during this evening or even around midnight. Although this is just an optimistic guess.
What I meant by that is that the game will definitely drop on May 4 depending on where you are and for other places it will necessarily be on May 5.1 minute till Midnight is still the same day
For example, China is already on May 5 while the US is still on May 4.

The update is only 150~ days overdue. What's another day delay. Or another week. Or another month. Heck, just delay it by another year. Time is cheap.
