This is already a huge improvement over Depth's Revival imo. Didn't enjoy DR much, it's a good porn game but a bad adult Visual Novel.
Deathless seems to have much more going on and leaning towards the narrative side. Hopefully that's here to stay.
Though i like the premise & setting but it's quite an unexpected turn of events. From a downtrodden homeless man who lost his family turning into a fantasy with superpowers.

the only obvious thing about the "obvious one" is that she isn't dead. Not sure why you gave us such a cute daughter in a non-incest game. Granny already told us these tattoos and their powers run in families...and immortality is apparently his families trait. Unless she was adopted, she ain't dead. Which is a scary thought considering what Nina said one of the families would do to him if they got him. If this was an incest game I'd swear up and down Blondie was Casey.

The beta version was missing, music, UI, sfx, some choices and overall polish. This version fixes all that, but there is no story progression.
I'm so sick and tired of the old mentor character trope where they hide your nature from you to ''protect'' you only for you to end up in a confrontation where you're totally clueless and unprepared for the danger.
Has this type of character EVER been proven right for hiding things from you? It feels like bad writing when they're otherwise wise and capable but still make such a costly and obvious mistake of judgement.

i'm quite a reader, and never WORKED, it's basically time-wasting drama, because if such mentor was honest, the people involved would end the story in like 5 minutes
It's the product of the MC needing someone to guide through and explain all the unfamiliar elements but then having to explain why they wasted the opportunity to train and prepare you before the danger was at your door.

There is no protection, you can clearly see that Nina doesn't even put up a fight. This is a battle you can just try to avoid, she tried that, and it didn't work out.

Hey, everyone. Hope you're all doing well!
I've been feeling great this whole year and I still do, which is a rare sight. I blame my good sleep schedule for my wellbeing.
Now let's talk games. First one being Depth's Revival 2. If you've been following me, you've probably seen all the teasers I've been sharing, and everything is going well. The main cast is mostly finished, and I'm halfway done with the first episode's script.
I've also managed to find the proper maps that I'll be using for the game, so if everything goes as planned it should be ready for you all to enjoy in two or three months.
I'll be sharing more and more about the game in the coming days, so be sure to check them out if you're interested.
After DR2 releases, my focus will shift back to Deathless as I start my work on its second episode, but this time rather than releasing the whole episode, I'm going to cut it into three or four parts. I've never worked this way, I always aimed to release big episodes in longer periods and if I'm being honest it never really worked for me, so this time I'll be doing it the other way. Smaller parts in shorter periods, for both games after their first initial release.
I'm also going to start my work on one of the solo paths for DR1. I'll be making a poll here on SS to decide which solo path it is going to be after DR2 releases.
Now that we're done with the games, I want to talk about something personal.
As I said before, I live in Turkey, and it is mandatory for every man to do their military service for 6 months here in Turkey. You can shorten this time to a 28-day basic training, but you need to pay some serious money for that, money that I currently don't have. So, if I can come up with that kind of money by the end of this year, I'll be only gone for 28 days but if I can't, I'll be gone for 6 months and my work will be delayed for quite a while.
