To be fair, while I do understand everyone's got their preferences in fetishes/kinks, I don't see how this specific occurence could be an issue?
This AVN has a very strong "The Last of Us" feeling if you ask me, the point by the other guy is, they liked MC's partner, but did they expect anything different?

As I said everyone's free to like this kind of storytelling or not, but it makes a lot of sense, yes even considering that I do also find MC's original partner hotter than the FMC.

This is all very well, but honestly, I don't think this is the type of game I'm looking for.

I prefer games that include very little drama and sad situations for the MC and the LIs (ideally none at all). And what I've read seems to lean more in the opposite direction: The death of a LI/MC's girlfriend far exceeds the maximum amount of drama and sad situations I'm willing to accept.

Yes, bring best girl back. She is literally the only good thing about this visual novel. Have it be where she somehow survived when we thought she was dead. That would solve all problems for me. I don't mind death, and heartbreak, but killing her, is a bad choice in my mind and will turn a lot of people off immediately, could of had other deaths, wouldn't care. (Which in turn will affect support dev gets probably. )

Also its not like the Fmc is in a lot of scenes right now, so could get away with some re-rendering now, changing her model, before he gets too deep. We go from a perfect 10 in Lisa to like maybe a 3 with her. Just such a big downgrade, it was so hard to care at that point. Killing best girl then playing her, someone who is just worst in every way and will take up a significant portion of the game, hard to want to be stuck with her. Maybe changing her woukd make it more ok to wnat to play even if Lisa is gone.

But I know I am speaking to the void and nothing will change unfortunately, dev won't do anything, cause he doesn't actually care about fans of the game probably. This had so much potential and so much intrigue, just down the drown.

At end of day, I guess just some wasted time and attention from me, not worth it, unless he change some things.

Bro, what Ricthequick said still stands. You can’t just expect the dev to swap models every time someone gets upset and threatens to quit. Then there will be another "you" asking for the same thing again. That’s not how storytelling works.

You can dislike the decision, that’s totally fine, but what you’re doing here is not just sharing an opinion, you are demanding the dev to change the story to fit your personal taste, - "change it or I won’t play it".

And that "he doesn’t care about his fans" part? Come on, bro, that sounds kinda childish.

The guy’s telling the story he wants to tell. Not everything has to go your way. If you can’t handle a bit of tragedy in a post-apocalyptic story, maybe stick to power-fantasy games where nobody ever dies and every girl magically loves you forever.

This isn't the first VN where they've removed characters I liked, but that's no reason to cry on the forums and demand their return. It's just a reason to leave and keep searching for your 'ideal' story.
Although I think with the right amount of funding for the author's Patreon, you'll get what you want, even if that's not right.

A few words about the VN:
the renders and animations are very very good, thanks to the neural networks. The story is still primitive, but captivating. I hope the author doesn't give up halfway through. This VN has potential.

I'll start by prefacing (again) that I have no direct involvement with this AVN, meaning what I know is what I gathered from the synopsis in the OP, and by playing what's currently available, so mine are just "devil's advocate" speculations.

I read that and IF I ignore we are playing an AVN what I expect out of this character is not to be sexy, but to be tough, which would make sense after 6 years of living in a post-apocaliptic scenario , what I expect instead from the original partner of our MMC is to generate in us emotions once we (as the MC) are faced with reality of losing her, just couple of weeks into the whole mess , I think so far they both achieved the goal.

Then of course this is an AVN so if folks don't find a character attractive it can be an issue, but she's not a LI, she's the protagonist (together with the male MC), no idea how the story and interactions will develop, how many times thou have we played AVNs where the MC is really not that great/good looking, but we still ended up liking the actual LIs?

Good game but the dev drop the ball with Lisa's fate. S-tier model, miles above the other female character in the game who all have been seen somewhere before or ar so and so

Really well made game. It's one of those few games that I would play uncompressed. But man, I don't know if I can get past Lisa's fate. I instantly liked that fine sweetheart. Extremely discomforting to see her go. I'll try again in the next update or 2.

The dev would do better to ditch those godawful animations, but other than that this is not too shabby for an opening. I'm generally not much for multiple protag games, but it's early days yet so we'll see how that shakes out.

A minor detail but it would be good to have some default names set for the two player characters in case the player doesn't want to pick out names for them.

Coming back from the dead, supposedly, Prison Break did it, Sara was dead and was back in a blink, Dexter did it - with Dexter above all - even LoTR and game of thrones did it, Howard Han on 9-1-1 came back, FBI Agent Fox Mulder on the X-files was presumed dead, and even buried, on a few occasions, but came back, Tony Almeida on "24" came back from the dead and Bobby Ewing on “Dallas” which was a ridiculous plot was back also.
