You expect us to applaud you for tacking some cobbled together stuff to your game as an ending and that we should somehow see it as a defence for you, that you can't code?
If you don't have the skill-set, what did you expect to happen?
I've defended many creators, against unfair attacks and I'm the first one to say that health issues, personal or family problems are reasons enough to even end a project, but what I find unbearable is the inability to accept your own mistakes.
Obviously you've made them, otherwise your game wouldn't end with a 0.5 and great holes in plot and character development, but instead of realizing that it's those mistakes that lead to people here being critical of your work, you in a roundabout way make yourself a great guy and us the bad ones, because at least you cobbled together a sort of ending and that with your lack of skills in game development.
Well, great for you! Now, if you've finished patting yourself on your back for being such a swell dude, how about understanding that IF YOU decide to put yourself out here with a creative work, trying to get money from it via patreon and then decide to just end it, because it isn't going how you like it, then damn well yes, people are going to be critical of that and rightly so.
This community here can be harsh, some of us are unfair, but if you as a creator work hard and be honest, then you will also get a lot of support, you will get people willing to invest time into your project, help you if they can, you will get good advice and honest valid criticism. And yes, you will also get more and more patrons.
However, if you cry about how mean everybody is, because YOU failed to deliver what you set out to, then yes, this probably really isn't the best place for you, because YOU as the developer have to do the work in advance and if you deliver THEN you will earn the rewards, not the other way around.
Good luck with your new game and grow a backbone, because again, if you put yourself out in the big world with your work, not everybody will like it and be nice to you.
