Feeling abandoned doesn't give someone else a right to swoop in, grab what's here, and make money off of it. The game is the dev's intellectual property and they still get to decide what to do with it, even if that means they bury it and walk away. if
ReviveMyDeadGame wants to make a game, let them make their own game rather than predating on one where the dev has told them they don't want that to happen.
That was why, when
ReviveMyDeadGame first cropped up looking for a game to continue, I suggested
Body Exchange, a terrific little game that is well and truly abandoned. The dev was a young Russian guy who disappeared when Putin decided that he didn't want there to be any more young Russian guys; as sad as it makes me, that dev is probably not coming back. Nobody could be offended if that game were revised. As it is,
ReviveMyDeadGame is a leech sucking the blood of a still-living and very unwilling developer.
