He doesn't need to speed up production.
He doesn't vanish for months, he posts up to 5 updates per week on his discord.
He and his supporters are happy with the result. More finished films wouldn't boost his income much, if at all.

Yeah you're right, this business model probably doesn't reward more investment than this, and if he makes enough doing what he clearly likes to do it's not worth to change. Good for him!

In the end I just wish I could see May and Toph project soon finished
Most of you say new year, I can see toph needs colouring for all the rhino part but May's animation looks almost complete. A couple more months for post prod and audio?

It seems May is closer. He also used a different flow for that, sketching then colouring each animation before moving to the next. I prefer it like that for previews, but toph is a longer project, it probably follows a different production logic

When you click "Linked Accounts" and go to his discord, you will see he just started to color it.

Some of the rhino stuff has been coloured but considering how long this animation is, that he's working on 2 at once, hasn't done any audio yet and has a habit of changing stuff to "correct" it, it's probably not going to be done this year
