Depends on a variety of factors, complexity of scenes, hardware etc, but no 200 is very low. Some devs will run on their own home PC, some devs have multiple workstation PCs that purely exist to pump out renders.

There could also be other factors at play though, burnout, writers block, personal issues etc

Defending Lydia Collier Development Log




Hello everybody!

Here's the latest update on how development is going.

Currently four scenes from the next update are now in BETA testing, featuring Stephanie, Emma, Helena and Tiffany, and these scenes total over 700 renders long.

Of the update in total, this is just over 1/4, with more than 2000 renders now made for v.0.17.

I'm now working on the major pool party scene with all the different girls together, I've never made a scene with this many variable characters in it before, so should be interesting, and expect to see a variety of characters in the previews this month.
A few people have asked "when will the next update" be, and I don't have an exact date, but it will be sometime in the summer. I'm aiming for 3-4 thousand render range for this update, so setting a date when I've still got a thousand renders to go is a recipe for disaster.

The next update will progress the game significantly for every single path, so no matter who you're with or where you are in the game, you'll be getting a good chunk of content this update.

I'll be updating the BETA again this month as well with a fifth scene.
