He was due to release the update, a bug popped up that he needed to fix, so he released this to compensate and tide people over.

It wasn't a bug, it was incompetence about not knowing where he finished the previous update for some paths

It's already been answered already about a half dozen times in this thread.

It's just a (standalone) beta with content for a few characters. Personally I'll just wait for the real update (The one you can play with your existing saves and includes all the previous content and the stuff missing from this update.

Could you add this information to the main post please? Otherwise there will be more and more confused people and asking the same question.

The beta is strictly a preview release of only the new content, and doesn't work with previous saves. The full release will.

Wrong. It's a standalone beta and not yet connected to the main game. Just select the route you want to try. Most will wait for a proper release some time this year hopefully, but who the hell knows?

thanks had no idea that was the case. I just checked out it quickly looking like normal Steph gonna be my favorite when the update drops fully. I find all the sex dungeon stuff boring lol.

I don't know normal Steph continues to have this problem which seems to be a different route than the one you started on

i'll take your word for it I don't recall her path all that well I need to replay it. I only remember I liked normal steph more because how she feels wholesome. I only kind of looked at the content for her path in the beta didn't really play it. Just wanted to look under the hood but I really dislike the sex dungeon with Bimbo Steph tbh. I know that path is about BDSM and kinky stuff but idk I liked it more when it was just the MC in his home without the dungeon. The sex dungeon just to much for me and kill the fun of the kinky stuff she had before. ( tho I always liked normal steph more)

Part of the problem with this AVN is I think that the dev has bitten off way more than he can chew when it comes to branching. In this beta Steph has apparently never met Lydia when on my save she has many times, she's even been in her dungeon.
Ellie path obviously has different branching depending on whether or not you're fucking her Mom and sisters. The MC also seems to have no idea who Tanya Williams is even on the Ellie path, despite having met her.
Not to mention the branching on the main story for which team you have chosen to go with.

Probably so, but personally all the branching is a huge plus

It's because it wasn't a planned path.
Steph path in the planning stage was about her becoming a Bimbo.
But White Phantom didn't want to force everyone in a certain path, as he knew not everyone would like it, so he made the normal Steph path.
The problem is that people expect that path to have the same amount of work that's put on Steph "true path". The truth is that normal Steph is a minor path that will not receive the same amount of work as the Bimbo path.
