That's actually true, I really hate the grind to work in office and betting system and laptop, they should have only added the ellie's blog and other peoples social media to stalk online.
Yeah like, there's parts you just skimming through, because you playing a certain route, but the game says "check the app, news, betting" just let me miss, I don't mind, this puts downs the game a little, and makes replayability a tad awful, but on recent updates it has been addressed (not the early ones, you just don't have it anymore), and I'm grateful for that, granted, I'm with you too, anything involving Ellie's family its a must, that one should be preserved.

Yep. The news is one of my favourite thing about this game. Plus the bias between two news outlets is just chef's kiss.
Why want the beta scenes? When the update will drop on the 15th of this month and will be leaked by the end of month. If not delayed.
You can use the tv and other devices for that and nothing of value will be lost. Yeah, we have the parts about the teams and missions but in the end people use walkthroughs to get the better possible outcome, so again, it's a waste of clicks and botches the visual novel flow.
